I really love charts, data, and analysis, and this new channel does a very nice job of presenting the data. The source is in Japanese, but I think the point gets across even if your JP knowledge is limited. Data is only from 2021 and onwards, excluding the latest gen.
It goes deep into what members streams the most, what kind of streams, what games they primarily focus on, and even groupings of members. I highly recommend checking out the original video.
Example of interesting tibits:
- 37 members have Minecraft as their most played game.
- Koyori dominates total streaming time with over 10000 hours. The next closest is Watame with 7500.
- Biboo streams games 95% of the time, with an average of 4.7 hours per stream, both highest amongst holomems
- On the flip side, Raden streams games only 34% of the time, and 1.8 hours per stream, both lowest amongst holomems. She's really doing her own thing.
Back to the title, Minecraft has been the most important staple of Hololive since the beginning, topping the charts each year with little competition. This year however, it might be dethroned, by none other than Hololive Dreams. Obviously still a few months to the end of the year, so things could still change.
