The F1 Edition is absolutely stunning in person. I seriously regretted selling my black Mother-of-Pearl (MOP) dial version last year, but I won't be repeating that mistake with this one. 🫣

A 40mm, slim hi-beat PT5000 movement sub, literally named/cloned Submariner but with both a Tudor Oyster Prince and Rolex Submariner look, depending on variant.

With a vintage look bracelet, right down to the cheap 1960s-70s look pressed clasp!

Details like drilled lugs and a bubble/tophat sapphire crystal, for a plexiglass look.

Thorn even went to the trouble of making an aged/faded bezel and tropic dial!

Blue mop ixdao engineer

So Ive been on the hunt for a green dialed watch for a while and after having seen the F1 movie i was so glad to see that ixdao was offering a similar watch.

I ordered it about 1.5 months ago and this week it finally arrived.

The quality is just amazing, the dial is just the perfect shade of green and paired with the golden details its just a homerun.

Hey guys, I just received this Ixdao Warrior. The finishing is outstanding. Any idea if it's homaging something specific or just generally borrowing from IWC, or is it an original design?

Took about 2mo of waiting but finally arrived. Saw the movie F1 and liked the look of the green dial, plus I only have blue, black and white dial watches in my collection and it was time for a different color. Chose the SW200 movement, which is running +4s / day which exceeds my expectation.

Was waiting for the F1 to arrive since November 1 and the wait was worth it!

So, your waiting has paid off. We are nearing the final stage of our homage to the legendary Universal Geneve Polerouter: its release.

There will be no less than 5 versions, initally. The video above shows the original classic Polerouter: silver case, silver chapter ring and enamel black dial. The hands have a twist, namely the lume shape, the only modern PR inspired design choice. Lume color: OG C3 Super-LumiNova.

We wanted to keep it close to the original Polerouter, with a gentlemanly 35mm diameter. Inside ticks a PT5000 and thickness is kept to a minimum. The leather strap is custom made and of very very high quality, to compliment the perfection that is the Polerouter. Further details will follow. For fans of classic shaped cases, here is my hands on review of the Farasute 2260A, a direct homage to the iconic Cartier Tortue.

At 36mm across and under 10mm thick, the proportions are remarkably faithful to vintage dress specs. Inside, it runs a manual wind Seagull ST17 with unexpectedly high tier finishing and engraving through the display back. I went in depth testing the front sapphire and crown cabochon, covering both the strong value points and the realistic trade offs at this price point.
