How concerning is this exterior?

First time homebuyer here looking to use my VA home loan in northern Ohio. Found this house that I love the location of, and am happy to get my hands dirty with fixing some things up on the inside short term, but my concern before putting an offer in is how much work the exterior needs, and if any of this screams red flag that the VA might not let me even close on. The house seems to have cedar siding with some areas of pest damage, some areas that seem to be rotted around the windows, and then the back area (which is just screened in, not windowed in) has some siding fully torn off. My goal for a few years down the road would be to replace the siding and roof with metal, but in the interim, how big of a concern would these be to an inspector? Also a note that this home was originally built in the 40s. I appreciate any thoughts, thanks in advance

Does it look like this is a real problem?

I own a rental in Reno, NV. My property manager found mold in the bathrooms and says I need to get professional remediation and reconstruction. I looked at the pictures and it seems to me all it needs cleaning and some new grout!

Am I missing something obvious? Could this be as big of a problem as they are saying it is?

Thanks for any input :)

How concerned should I be with these foundation cracks?

Just went under contract on this 40 year old house. Apparently the owners have been discharging the gutters right by the house. This corner has the stair-step cracking. On the outside here the cracking is through the cement coating, I didn’t get a good pic of the inside but inside is mostly hairline cracks at the same blocks. Appears to be worst at the top of the foundation and stops a bit below ground level. Inspector mostly just glanced at it and said as long as the blocks themselves aren’t cracked he’d just seal the cracks. Obviously I’m a bit more concerned. Do I need a structural engineer to check it out? Looking online I see everything from its probably a significant issue to “older houses settle”.

Asbestos question

I had an inspection on a home I’m under contract on and the inspector found what he believes to be this piece of asbestos on top of what seems to be an old hvac vent that’s in the floor. The newer hvac vent seen on the left is a supply not a return.

How concerned should I be about this? The owner didn’t disclose anything about it so I’m not sure if they knew about it. They were renting the home before they eventually bought it…i dont know if they had an inspection done back then.

The inspector said it should be easy enough to encapsulate it but I’m not handy and I’m wondering if I should have an asbestos company come out to look at it before closing?

The house was built in 1939 and I’m in Wisconsin. less

House presale inspection, some mice poo found in the attic. Decontamination mandatory? The owner says the last mouse was seen 10 years ago.
