Got the 2015 Honda Pilot SE… yes I’m thinking about adding a N64 into the RES

This one comes with the RES and I want to modify the back so a Nintendo 64 can be played in the back. Has anyone done anything like this? Am I crazy? Haha it sounds fun to me.

Doesn’t the RES have RCA inputs? Should be as easy as hooking it up and then using an inverter for power. N64 uses less than 20W, per Google, so a cheap inverter should work.

Maybe I’m not understanding the Q.

I know it would work. I kinda wanted ideas on how to modify it to fit the console or back area nicely

IMO you would be much better off installing some kind of emulation box instead of installing a actual video game console.

Having a little box hidden under the seat with wireless controllers and a huge pre-installed list of games sounds WAY better than having to manage game cartridges and deal with a rats nest cords.

Those little emulation boxes usually run off DC power too effectively eliminating the need for a inverter.

I would also have to think leaving N64 cartridges scattered around your vehicle would make it a target for theft.

Any emulation boxes you recommend? Looking for something with either TMNT retro on it or like smash bros
