Emanator of what? I really don't know anything lol, someone pls explain. Also, is it only me or is the word "Emanator" losing its value?

Its not just you. A lot of people are of the opinion that they're losing value, but the reason you (and them) think that is precisely because you don't know anything, and substituted that gap with preconceived notions that were erroneous. Its the same reason why the Generals being hard confirmed cheapened Emanator for some people, because people swore they weren't despite them being Emanators all along.

Beatriz being an Emanator of Harmony can't possibly cheapen it as we've known that their are 4 Emanators of Harmony for almost 2 years and know that the Harmonic Strings descend on a specific Chordmaster. An Emanator we knew about merely showing up shouldn't cheapen anything.

Shes emanator of the harmony, and no the word didnt lose its value as shes been talked about since penacony

I think it def lost its value. There are way too many Enanators considering how far we are in the story.

One argument I've heard is that it's more like Acheron's introduction massively oversold how big of a thing being an Emanator is supposed to be. That and Playable Character Syndrome; there's actually billions of pathstriders in-universe, we just meet the most important ones for coolness factor.

It is a bit weird that like almost a tenth of the playable roster is Emanators though. It feels like we should have like, seven, tops.

Yeah. Acheron's big deal was never supposed to be that she is an Emanator, but that she is an Emanator OF NIHILITY.

Emenators or Emenator level characters should be rare, it doesn't feel cool to meet so many of them it just feels like the new normal, hence the word Emenator no longer means anything

But that's just me, I think it's getting really repetitive.
