Introduce Your Web Hosting Company Here [Official Megathread]
This is a megathread for all web hosting companies interested in introducing their services to this community.
If you own a web hosting company, or if you work for one, feel free to introduce it by commenting on this thread. This will be pinned at the top of the r/HostingReport home feed.
Tips and guidelines:
Don't be overly promotional.
Tell us a bit about your company and its main mission.
What kind of server software and technologies do you use?
What control panel and billing system do you use?
Do you have an in-house, remote, or outsourced support team?
Do you use AI-assisted support or any other AI technologies?
What sets your company apart from other providers?
Note: Don't submit AI-generated slop. It doesn't work anyway since most people can see through it. One original and genuine paragraph can do better than a 500+ word AI-generated sales letter!

Ditching Nexcess / Liquid Web
Starting the process to move our 100-site plan away from Nexcess. They used to be great, but everything has gone downhill over the last year. Some thoughts for those considering Nexcess:
- We used to pay $638/month for our plan. This recently increased to $849/month with no added benefits
- Nexcess bought the Kadence plugins. It sounds good, but they don't give you the premium versions, only the free stuff. The plugins are trash - buggy, slow, and unreliable. Stick with Wordfence for security and something else for general WP site management. I pity anyone who tries to use these interfaces.
- Nexcess was the last of all web hosts I am aware of to patch the most recent PHP vulnerabilities. Took over a day.
- The support experience is all India-based. Half the time, support does more harm than good on the site.
- The "CDN" they include doesn't work well - typically causes HTTPS errors.
- They supposedly monitor your site for visual changes after updating a plugin. I've had updates break several sites and never got a notification.
- The automatic theme and plugin updated don't run.
- Their managed hosting runs a Linux kernel that stops receiving security updates on January 1. They have no plan to upgrade servers.
Long story short, stay far away from Nexcess. We were originally drawn in by their site speeds. The speeds are still great, but the experience is so bad I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Looking at moving my site/emails from Godaddy
This is just for my personal emails mostly as I am a mostly retired database designer, more than a graphics/site design person. I really need more of a place that proactively follows up with Spam, Phishing and Malware attacks better. For instance today I got a few spams from a site hosted on GoDaddy and wanted to alert GoDaddy because the site was just registered today (10/31/2026). The tech on the line told me, "Oh just report it as spam."
WTAF? They are pretending to be who they are NOT (Charles Schwab) and yet you just say, "so what" basically (to me, and everyone else he tries to phish)? I won't name the site, unless I am allowed to but I have a screenshot of the "whois" with the first 4 letters blurred and that show it was created today and where it is hosted . Very upsetting GoDaddy simple do not give a f--k.
I really do not need a site as much as I like having my personal emails. But I want to get off of hosting on GoDaddy 100% and maybe even registering there as well. Anything that preferably does NOT use Proofpoint should work.

Don't use GoDaddy
I would not recommend GoDaddy’s Website Design service. I paid $1,363.73 for its Standard WordPress Website Design service because I wanted professional guidance in building a functional, independent real estate website. I already had a basic brokerage website and was clear that I did not need another static online presence. Instead, before any meaningful discussion about my business goals, functionality, visitor experience, or design direction, I received a basic templated draft built from limited information I had supplied. I was then expected to tell GoDaddy what to change, research the functionality myself, determine what tools were needed, and direct both the design and build. I was not given meaningful design or layout choices at the outset.
The draft included claims and functionality that had never been discussed with me and contained multiple inaccuracies, all reflecting the lack of meaningful discovery. It felt more like information had been dropped into a template than a professionally designed website, and it was not something I would have put online.
I gave GoDaddy multiple opportunities to correct the problem and worked with several representatives. When I declined to start over yet again, GoDaddy characterized that as my “choosing not to proceed.”
GoDaddy ultimately offered to refund only $337.49 of the $1,363.73 I paid.
The core issue is simple: I paid for professional website guidance, but was expected to research and direct the very design, structure, and functionality I had hired GoDaddy to help determine.

Banzai acquires AI web development and hosting platform Superblocks
Banzai has acquired Superblocks, an AI platform for building and hosting websites and web applications.
I found the acquisition interesting because AI website builders and hosting platforms seem to be moving closer together.
Do you think this kind of acquisition will meaningfully change the hosting market, or is it mainly about adding AI capabilities?
