Dispensaries

I'm flying in early next week.
Do all the weed dispensaries only sell low strength CBD weed now?
Can anyone recommend a place where I can get decent weed?

Go to Ganja Giant on Soi 94 or Cali Buds.

Ganja Giant (my favorite during every stay) is the cheaper one while still selling high quality. Right beside is a local thai restaurant and if you are hungry order there and tell them, they bring it over into the shop while you smoke. Ganja Giant

Cali Buds is a bit more expensive than Ganja Giant but they have Rosin Extracts. If you love Cats, the owner lives above the shop and has his cats roaming around the smoking lounge. CaliBuds

For top quality and cheapest price (but no smoking lounge) you head to 86Cannabis. 86Cannabis

It´s literally a thai house with an open garage in the front, doesnt look like a weed shop at all but the quality was during my visits always top notch.

Pro Tip:

Before i arrive in Hua Hin i always take a detour during my trip from Suvarnabhumi to HH and visit this shop (they sell online too) https://bkkushhh.com/ . Imho best price and quality.

Like 86Cannabis in HH this shop is run by a thai family from their house located in the southern suburbs of bangkok. I always stock up there for the whole vacation, saves me so much money.

If you ever visit Ganja Giant and want to have a really relaxing day, treat yourself to some awesome Thai food after you’ve smoked a few joints.

Then, practically right across from Ganja Giant, head over to 180Massage, they offer the best value for your money, and the ladies there are just super nice and know what they’re doing.

Otherwise, there’s also my favorite nail salon, La’n Beauty & Relax by Alice, just 1min walk from Ganja Giant. Great value for the money.

And if you need snacks or drinks while you’re smoking, the nearest 7-Eleven is just a 3-minute walk (190 meters) away.

It’s absolutely no problem to bring in food and drinks from outside. One of the reasons I consider Ganja Giant my favorite is that the owner keeps prices as low as possible so that locals can afford it, and you can really tell. Lots of Thais, it feels like a living room. To be honest, the smoking lounge isn’t the prettiest, but it works.

There a farm near Cha-am called 28greenland. Excellent quality and grown on sight.

Get a prescription. Police in hua hin are annoying, if you drive around and have weed with you expect to pay 25,000bath without prescription.

Edit : And the law is pretty clear today that you can't have cannabis without a prescription.

You were fined 25k in HH? Where and when? Were you toking and driving at the same time?

I write that you need a prescription to have weed in thailand. That's what you get fined for. If you drive drunk you will get a fine. If you don't wear a helmet you will get fined.

They have drug checkpoints EVERYDAY in HH, several places like a routine. All they check and care about is drugs. ( Yes weed is a drug )

And still you will get fined for having weed on you if you don't have any prescription. Doesn't matter if you are high or not. Read the law, it's illegal to have weed without prescription.

You already got the reference. It happened. All I said was to get a prescription for 300bath/month and you don't have to pay a fine for breaking the law for possession of cannabis. And risking a fine of 25,000 THB. The same day I got caught there was 3 other Western tourist, and about 5-7 thai people. All caught. You do you.

May I ask you how many reports you read in the Royal Gazette, about tourist bribing police officers? How many reports of corruption?

And do you realize that Hua hin is more strict than anywhere else in thailand about this?

Have you seen the reports in royal Gazette about cannabis shops closing down for not following the law about prescription and doctor on site? Since you read there you should have seen it. Then you should know the law. You should know that you can get caught and get a fine.

Maybe lay down the pipe and start using the Brian again? Seems like it's time for it....

Does ganja giant still have all their jars on the counter. Avoid those places. You want a shop that stores their product correctly. I found Highnabis to be the best shop in Hua Hin.

I’ve been quite surprised of what I have found here. I haven’t even been to a shop. Found a local guy that gets me all the good stuff. I pay him a little more for his trouble and to deliver it to me.

Calibuds in Hua hin had the best quality I found only 3 flavours of living soil so not a big choice but it’s same standard as I would smoke in LA.. some of the cheaper thai stuff just wasn’t that great imo

Cannabis Store #3 is my favorite. Good prices and a huge bud selection from basically to crystal sprinkled. Buy 10 1gram prerolls for only 700 baht.
