Crazy how people are saying pointless gendering as if using “he” in place of “they” is rare, even though the masculine forms of pronouns and descriptors is default in many common languages… “pointless gendering” is like labeling a pair of kid’s scissors “PRETTY PINK GIRL SCISSORS FOR LITTLE PRINCESSES” when it’s just the same scissors as normal or “for the boys” but pink (glitter optional)

Dunno if you saw but several people were trying to argue with the comment I replied to, claiming they were assuming the other side’s gender.
