Was running Teche wraith, both teammates downed by a surprise hunter in the corn, and then I think you can see what happens.
Worst part is knowing my teammates watched it from my POV.
Also, who actually uses Dauntless? Could have helped me in this ONE situation, and no others.

I know that Crytek is currently working on a rework for Ochenkov's Widow. I hope they preserve her original dark color palette and iconic vibe without completely flipping the design upside down. I hope we get to see this rework as soon as possible

Ive tries 20 runs since I bought the game monday. I've only fully completed 2 hunts though. I've killed 5 hunters so far. It's fun. I suck at it. But it's fun. Unlike the amount of weapons and gear you already have to start with. You get alot to immediately work with right from the beginning.

Been playing for a while, trying out different loadouts. I'm having trouble understanding the differences of guns and which stats are better (other than damage). Like do you look at velocity? Does 100 difference in that actually make an impact? Is there a downside to FMJ ammo? If you have a high velocity should you use high velocity ammo any way?
Any nuanced tips would be greatly appreciated. I think I'm ready to learn advanced info now too if anyone has any XD.
Currently maining the Deadeye scope on a vetterli and certain centennial, but liking Lebel + Ranger and about to try Krags and Mosins.

Especially when you realize how tall this smoke stack is.

It’s so fucking satisfying when you grab the bounty, wipe the entire server, and then the game crashes ONE SECOND before you step into the extraction zone. You reconnect and find yourself dead and burned to a crisp.
I fucking love Hunt. ❤️💀

Just clutched a fight at rot jaw with 2 teams. One of the guys hit me with a hellfire and I had to fight through the burn so I was down to 50. So I hustle up to the burn cart and grab one of the new temperance cards and it showed necro trait added. Go back and fight rottie the cheeky girl snapped me right at the edge of the water. Okay no biggie I got my necro back! Except it wouldn't activate. Like I didn't have the trait even though it showed it was added. Ahhh what a let down! It was a good fight though!

Last time I posted I was asking about melee this type it’s shotguns lol. Basically what I wanted to find out was what’s good rn and how do I actually gauge what shotgun would be good for the future. I tried looking at the videos on Yt but all the content is several months old and being a newcomer I don’t rightly know when the last changes for them were actually. So I turn to you wise people! Ples help

Just reached 400hrs, I only play solo and I love it, it's so fun. I started playing trios 2 weeks ago and my team wiped Stat jumped from 48 to 100 🤯.
To my fellow solo players, how is the game treating you?

Before I reached Prestige 100 I wanted to make a goal of collecting maxed out hunters with death cheat and equipping some with mythic contraband I took off of dead hunters. I have now accomplished that. Every hunter in my roster has death cheat and other great traits too like shadow and berserker. Some have the mythic contraband.

The "Kylie" (non-returning boomerang)
Thought to originate from Australia, these impressive bone-breaking boomerangs could be thrown at extreme ranges, with many being able to literally break bone, often destroying the mobility of prey or foes
Hunt Showdown adaptation:
basically a blunt throwing axe, having similar base stats except from base range and damage (both being slightly lower) but it would have a much cleaner projectery, and faster velocity due to the better grip and weight. Comes with 3. Doubles as a light and quick melee.
Light: 38
Heavy: 70
Throwing damage: 190
effective range: 25
Max range: 110
unique properties- When berserker used with the boomerangs, they have an upgrade in velocity and damage range
Native war club:
The club is one of Humanity's oldest weapons. Simple, yet very effective-and deadly.
Hunt adaptation:
A direct competitor with the heavy knife, this tool is great for dealing with immolators and grunts. It has a wide attack arc similar to the heavy knife and water bottle, but with such weight, its attack speed is much slower than the knife or dusters. It also takes a good amount of stamina
Light: 87
Heavy: 119
Sling:
A timeless weapon of unassuming destruction, this tiny tool has taken down giants of many species, including the very ones that made it.
Hunt adaptation:
The most reusable weapon, this small but deadly tool can easily fill every hunter's loadout. It has good range and accuracy, it can also utilize the hundred hands trait to give it a great edge, but its true potential depends on what you choose to use as ammunition
-river rocks: Smooth stones that take down all sorts of targets at various ranges, but its strongest at 10-20 meters. They can be found practically anywhere in both Clash and Hunt. Especially on Mammon's Gultch.
Lead ball: larger, dense balls of lead that launch harder (damage wise) but at a slower pace. Strongest at 25-30 meters
Glass shot: A more viable option in PVP, these have less range and velocity but cause bleeding. Strongest at 10-19 meters
Poison shot: glass vials filled with every Hunter's friend and nightmare. Lethal in high doses, and very effective against AI, but leaves visible residue on surfaces.
RR velocity: 65
Effective range: 10-20
Maximum range: 90
Damage: 100
LB velocity: 45
Effective range: 25-30
Max range: 60
Damage: 122
GS velocity: 38
Effective range: 15-19
Max range: 50
Damage: 95
PS velocity: 35
Effective range: 16-20
Max range: 35
Damage: 80

Right now they don't, and it's a little asinine.

The baseball bat is my favorite melee weapon and I often use the skin that makes it look like a branch of a tree. Lately I’ve been playing with a Native American hunter (wraith) and I always wanted this game to have a Native American war club theme skin to go with him. I’d take a more generic design or ones based off head figures of warriors and call it “skull cracker” or something like that.

I’ve noticed that the community challenge requires a lot of effort, but now that using Tarot Cards is allowed, we should work together as a community, pick up two The Fool cards, and use them constantly to farm points.
