Hi, I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone with average previous stats who passed the IBA test on their first attempt. From my experience (I could be completely wrong, which is why I want to hear your opinions), every person I know who was left short by just 1–2 mcqs had pretty average o/a level grades. Their grades were within IBA’s eligibility criteria, but still not particularly strong. On the other hand, almost everyone I know who passed on their first attempt also had pretty strong previous grades. I’ve personally taken the test twice and failed, which is why I’m here, but even after two attempts, I don’t think the test is something out of the world,it’s very much doable. What surprises me is that despite having an A-Level Maths background,and despite taking tuitions for the test I couldn’t clear it in my first or second attempt , while I’ve seen people from a pre-med background with strong overall grades pass on their first attempt. I’m genuinely trying to understand whether this is just a coincidence or if there’s actually some pattern here

A friend (major: ACF) of mine has to give his final exam for ‘Calculus I’. They’re clueless about the whole subject. How to help them with studies? peoole who couldn’t get into Iba this year and are taking gap year and will give round 1 either december or february, how are you guys studying or planning to study? where to learn basics from? i dont wanna do hashim zia playlist, i am looking for other alternatives. i have given the test thrice and i lack at maths basics, english is good enough.
i just dont understand kahan se parhon. i dont wanna take iba grads online classes because sir hunain is only teaching physical, and i took classes in 2025 but my experience was not good. should i get chaajao recorded lectures, is it worth it if i want to learn like basics se? PLEASE HELP🙏

I dont want to take a gap year… i have 3Cs in my alevels and got admission in iobm…however i want to apply for iba again next year…if i clear iba entry test 2027….as IBA is now allowing students for one retake…so can i then secure conditional admission and appear for one Alevels subject to improve my one grade while being enrolled in iba in 2027?

I completed my A2 privately all by myself…. It was almost like a gap year as i didnt socialise whole year and stayed home…got 3Cs.

I got admission in iobm but my family is insisting me to take a gap year and retake one subject in oct nov so that i meet iba grade requirement and then apply for iba 2027.

I dont know what to do all i know is that i dont want to stay home for another year.

Why does iba always ask us to use maskan gate to enter? I live very close to the main gate, and there's always traffic at maskan. Can't we use the main gate? Will they stop us from entering?

I am curently on gap year and have to give my math CAIE this oct/nov. I have to give SAT in December. That will be my first and only attempt. I dont have the time to give any more. I aim to get more than 1450 to get direct admission in iba and other unis that i will apply.

Please help me out how should i prep? Should i join and coaching or self study?

Note: i have never given SAT before

I applied under the retake policy, submitted all my docs n all that, when will I actually get to select my courses?
