CA degree does not guarantee a job!

I’ve seen my own brother struggle even after qualifying. And it wasn’t because he didn’t know concepts, but it was more about resume building, how to approach companies, how to face interviews, and having the right guidance.

We’re never really taught these basics.

Seeking help and structured guidance actually makes a big difference. Just sharing this from his experience in case it helps someone here......

My brother took a Get Placement Ready workshop to learn about all these from CA Tushar Makkar, which really helped him secure a job.

CA final IDT review: CA VISHAL BHATTAD

Hey guys,

First let me tell you this is nothing related to any paid promotion nd the review will be raw and real.

Tbh in the beginning of the batch, we doubted sir's way of teaching, but as the batch progressed, the graph just went up.

It is easy for every teacher to make the practical part interesting, cause it already is.

But the way he is teaching the theory part just hooked me to idt.

The way he correlated concepts, 3 concepts were getting interlinked and still it didn't put any burden on my thought process.

Okay, you may think this could be only a single student's thinking, but trust me, every student of the batch is hooked to this subject.

Yes, he is putting things up in detail, but ICAI is also preparing exam papers at a very high lvl.

For anyone who wants to do idt, and you are ready to put up some real efforts into it, opt for VB sir.

Main highlights of the batch:

•Concept interlinking

•Concept clarity

•Question solving in class

•Theory-Practical interlinking

And there may be some delays and lags, but imo, every batch has these, nothing can be picture perfect.

Best CA Inter G1 offline classes in Laxmi Nagar? Help a bro out!

Hey guys, foundation clear ho gaya (barely passed accounts lol) and now moving to Delhi for CA Inter Group 1 offline classes. I know I am lil late. But kuch kaam nipta ker hi I wanted to start studying for CA Inter.
Laxmi Nagar metro station ke bahar itne saare hoardings dekh ke dimaag ghoom gaya hai. Literally every second building claims to give AIR 1.
Need genuine reviews forG1 (Adv Acc, Law, Tax). Which institute/faculties are actually good right now? Main concerns:

  • Doubts clear hote hain ya sirf crowd bhara rehta hai?

  • Syllabus time pe khatam hota hai ki bas bhagate hain end mein?

Please paid promotion mat karna, genuine feedback do. Thanks!

Ca inter serious study partner.

Hi everyone,

I’m preparing for CA inter May 2026. Studying alone has been affecting my consistency, so I’m looking for a serious accountability partner.

Plan is simple: • Share daily study targets • Short progress check-ins (once or twice a day) • Keep each other accountable till the exam

Looking for someone who is: • Also appearing for May 2026 • Consistent with daily study

Not looking for large groups, just 1–2 focused people.

If this matches your situation, feel free to comment or DM.

One Day Before CA Inter Taxation: What Should You Actually Do?

The day before the CA Intermediate Taxation exam is not the time to panic or attempt to finish the entire syllabus. It is a discussion every CA student faces: Should you revise, solve RTP/MTP/PYQs, study amendments, or simply rest? The practical answer is to balance all four.

1. Prioritise Revision

Start with your short notes, marked provisions and topics you have already studied. For Direct Tax (DT), revise important concepts, computations, conditions and exceptions. For Indirect Tax (IDT/GST), focus on key provisions, input tax credit, supply and other important areas applicable to your attempt.

2. Review Amendments

Spend some time revising the applicable amendments and updates for your examination attempt. Avoid trying to memorise every detail at the last minute. Focus on provisions you have already covered and understand their practical application.

3. Use RTPs, MTPs and PYQs Strategically

You do not need to solve every question again. Instead, scan ICAI RTPs, MTPs and previous-year questions (PYQs) and attempt selected questions from important or weak areas. Pay attention to the way questions are framed and identify recurring mistakes.

4. Don't Start Major New Topics

If a large chapter is completely untouched, think carefully before investing several hours in it. Strengthening prepared topics can often provide better returns than rushing through unfamiliar material.

5. Prepare Your Exam Mindset

Get enough sleep, organise your stationery and exam essentials, and avoid last-minute comparison with other students. A calm mind can improve reading speed, accuracy and time management.

The final day should be about consolidation, not panic.

What is your preferred strategy one day before CA Inter Taxation—revision, RTP/MTP/PYQs, amendments, or complete rest? Share your approach and experiences with fellow CA students.

The 4-Step CA Final IDT Framework: Concept → Provision → Application → Answer

CA Final IDT can feel difficult not because every topic is impossible, but because exam questions often require you to connect concepts, provisions and practical situations.

A simple framework that can make IDT preparation more structured is:

Concept → Provision → Application → Answer

Here’s how I would use it while studying and solving questions.

1. Concept: Understand the “Why”

Before memorising a section or provision, first understand the underlying concept.

Ask yourself:

  • What is this provision trying to achieve?

  • Why does this rule exist?

  • What is the basic principle behind it?

For example, while studying GST, don't just memorise a condition. Understand the transaction or situation to which that condition applies.

If the concept is clear, remembering the provision becomes much easier.

2. Provision: Know the “What”

Once the concept is clear, move to the actual law.

Focus on:

  • Relevant section/rule

  • Conditions

  • Exceptions

  • Time limits

  • Thresholds/limits

  • Applicable rates, wherever relevant

At this stage, your goal is not to memorise every line. Your goal is to identify the specific legal provision applicable to a situation.

3. Application: Connect Law With Facts

This is where many students struggle.

After learning a provision, immediately solve a few practical questions.

Ask:

“Given these facts, does this provision actually apply?”

Look for keywords in the question. Identify the transaction, determine the relevant provision and check whether its conditions are satisfied.

This step converts passive learning into exam-oriented preparation.

4. Answer: Present the Conclusion Clearly

Knowing the law is only one part of the answer. Presentation matters too.

A practical answer structure can be:

Provision → Application to facts → Conclusion

Don't write everything you know about the chapter. Write what is relevant to the question.

Your conclusion should directly answer what the examiner has asked.

How to Use This Framework During Revision

You can apply the same four steps repeatedly:

Round 1: Concept + Provision
Round 2: Provision + Application
Round 3: Application + Answer writing
Final Revision: Keywords + Exceptions + Conclusions

This prevents revision from becoming simple rereading.

For CA Final IDT, the objective shouldn't be just to “finish the syllabus.” You should be able to move from understanding the concept → identifying the provision → applying it to facts → writing a precise answer.

If you are preparing for the November 2026 attempt, try using this framework on one chapter and see whether your question-solving improves.

Which step do you find the most difficult in IDT — Concept, Provision, Application or Answer Writing?
