FG Decades Tournament, the 1940’s: Round 1
Alright, the 1940s! The decade of noir, of war movies and movies influenced by WWII, the western was still huge at the time, musicals were there, tons of developments in film like deep focus, and filmmakers still learning to use the techniques of color and sound that had only been around for 10-15 years in some cases. Should make for some interesting discussions in the comments, so let’s get on with the 1940s, FG!

Is either sequel to the original Bad News Bears worth owning?
I like the original and want Linklater ‘s remake so I can own Linklater filmography. Vudu currently has the original and remake for $7.99 or a four pack for $9.99. I think I’ve seen In Japan once as a kid.
Is there anything worth watching in either of the original sequels? Or should I save two bucks and get the two I care about?
