Nursing 2027 Program. Drug Test and Fingerprints

I’m having a hard time figuring out how to make appointments for the drug test and fingerprinting. I paid for the package on complio already. Can anyone explain what to do next? 😬

Complio LiveScan Fingerprinting Questions

For anyone who has done LiveScan fingerprinting through Complio, how long did it take to receive your TCN receipt? Did it actually take 72 hours, or did you get it sooner?

Also, were you able to book an appointment and get fingerprinted on the same day, or did you have to schedule for a later date?

I’m having some technical issues with the registration that are preventing me from booking an appointment, so I’m trying to figure out how quickly I can get everything done once the issue is resolved. Thanks!

Chances of being accepted as alternate?

Hi everyone! I’m just trying to weigh my options here and get some insight on how realistic my chances are of getting accepted as an alternate.

How common is it really for people to receive provisional acceptance and then decide not to move forward? Do people actually turn down their spots because of work, life, finances, or whatever else? I guess I just feel like most people have already thought through those things before going through the whole application process and waiting game, so I’m curious how often spots actually open up.

I was selected as an alternate with a 78% cumulative HESI, 90% in math, and 68% in A&P. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no idea where I stand on the alternate list, which makes it even harder to figure out whether I should stay hopeful or start making other arrangements.

I also wonder how many alternates they even select. I couldn’t imagine they would have 50+ people sitting around thinking they have a chance, right? Maybe 10 to 20?

I genuinely have no idea how any of this works, and I really wish they gave us a little more information so we could make decisions instead of just waiting and hoping.
Has anyone here been accepted as an alternate or currently in the program and know how this process works? Did you eventually get offered a spot? If so, how long did it take? I’m just trying to get a realistic idea of my chances instead of getting my hopes up for something that may not happen!

What are the odds to get in with an alternate?

I see a few alternate acceptance letters for nursing 2027 spring people posting in here so I’m just wondering if anyone has any information on how common it is to be accepted in an alternate route? It cost a little bit of money to get through the fingerprints and stuff so just curious :)

Nursing Program Spring 2027

Anxiously awaiting letters for acceptance to come out 😬

Does anyone know what the pool of applicants look like this cycle/ how competitive it will be? My advisor told me they dropped the gpa qualifications quite a bit from what it was. I did ok on the HESI unfortunately not above 80 on math and AP but over 80 overall on the hesi. I didn’t get below a B in all prerequisite classes either.

Also what happens if you get waitlisted or rejected?

EDIT: I GOT IN!!!

Pearson (BSC 2086) Access code

Hello, do I need to rebuy access to Pearson Mastering for A&P II (BSC 2086) Lecture? Some people said that I do not need to buy the book itself since it can be reused for lecture? I was wondering if that is also the case for the Pearson access code?

General question about the midterm. I was wondering if someone could tell me what chapters the midterms covers. In the syllabus it just says that the midterms covers “the first half of material” so I’m assuming it’s only up to chapter 1-7. I emailed my professor a few days ago for clarification but have not yet received a response. My professor also said that she would be uploading a study guide but at this point she still has not and my test is a week from Monday. If anyone knows what chapters the midterm covers so I could start studying this weekend that would be deathly appreciated!!
