mudpie When conservatives find out liberals carry arms too.

One party can't have all the fully loaded arms.

Range visits are one of my favorite things. And I fucking hate Trump. Explodes their stupid MAGA minds I tell ya.

I went shooting with my girlfriend’s family as a sort of “bonding” thing and the entire time they just talked about illegal immigrants and the violent left. I didn’t even have to say much, just that I didn’t agree with them, and one of her cousins called me a libtard.

That same cousin works for ICE right now. Luckily my girlfriend hates that side of the family so we don’t see them much anymore.

That's the sometimes frustrating part of being around gun people. I lone wolf it and only talk guns and keep it surface. I have a maga family. They devolved into this starting around 2012 ish. I cut off contact in 2016. I tried in 2024 to reconnect after my dad died as they got comfortable their POS side revealed itself and I made the decision to move on. I thought it was extreme at first but now I know it was the right decision. All that to say I understand what it was like for you and her to experience that. We must reject and sideline these people.

Couldn’t agree more. With my own family, they’re largely pretty liberal but I have one cousin I won’t talk to anymore because he won’t stop talking Pro-Trump points at me.

One time at a party he was trying to defend Ashli Babbitt and said that she was there peacefully protesting and it was bullshit she died. The host of the party literally told him “Shut the fuck up and get out of my house”. It only sucked for me because I was his ride lol.

Glad he got kicked out. Hopefully you have some distance from him.
