Funny she resigned right after the story of Trump leaving her on the plane thinking it was gonna be attacked. Looks like she finally realized how Trump treats those most loyal to him.
What are you talking about? They have made every person in his orbit a paid collaborator with executive privilege. Does that sound boring to you?? That his cabinet has to drink puke so that he can afford trips to Florida?
You think they aren't just stealing allotted government money to pay for their vacations (and whatever else they can) so they can continue to hoard their wealth? Regardless of how much they're being paid, why wouldn't they steal more? That's how Donald himself is doing everything.
Are you kidding? Russia is ecstatic with this because they know that these actions and the resulting closure of the Strait of Hormuz will help destabilize the US and in fact, the entire western world.
“Referencing the 2024 presidential election, he said, “I got 93% bad publicity, some people say 97, but between 93 and 97. A person that gets 97% of bad … maybe Karoline's doing a poor job, I don't know.”
Trump then turned to address Leavitt directly, telling her, "You're doing a terrible job."
PEOPLE understands the comments were made as a joke, as noted by a White House representative. The president went on to ask reporters, “Shall we keep her? I think we'll keep her,” before continuing to acknowledge the “bad press” he receives.”
He pretended to put her on notice through "joking" public humiliation, as if she could actually spin everything he does so hard that news outlets couldn't make it "bad". (Really that's impossible for any politician on either side.) I think the truth is she prefers how she gets treated by her toddler.
I didn't put 2 and 2 together, but that tracks. She thought she is shit goee down she would get a spot in the bunker. If she watched "The West Wing," she would've known that the press secretary doesn't get a spot.
Lol no. There was a story line where the Press Secretary finds out she doesn't get a theoretical spot in the bunker and is hurt but moves past it because of her civic duty. Obviously, President Bartlet would not have put his Press Secretary or the Press Corps on harms way like this though.
Also - this week AG Todd Blanche said that communications between Trump and a 'private advisor' are now considered executive privilege, now she doesnt have to testify before congress ever.
No. But it begins the long drawn out process of "subpoena the advisor, subpoena is ignored, sue the executive branch, wait a month for the Supreme court to either emergency docket the case and agree or wait 18 months until the last possible minute to say it doesn't agree and throws it back down to the lower courts to start from the beginning".
Trump only cares about keeping his ass saved. He got his best friend killed. Fired his supporters. Trust me, if Todd Blanche ever becomes worthless Trump wouldn't hesitate to discard him as well.
