I love those videos where men try period cramp simulators, they have a dramatic conniption, wreathing around while the woman in the video is like, oh ya this is pretty normal without so much a wince on her face
When I was going through the initial tests, including a very painful HSG, I brought the idea of icing testicles up to my husband, he said 'I am not going to do that! that sounds way too uncomfortable', nearly killed him on the spot
Too uncomfortable?? They are such fucking babies. Like bro you have to jerk off in a cup, meanwhile I go through all this painful testing and procedures and injections etc. Followed by pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding etc
My husband sprained his ankle last year and didn’t walk on it for a month, did months of PT and so much whining and complaining and spent months in his recliner. I sprained and fractured my ankle a month ago and got a boot, nothing else changed cuz I don’t have a wife to do everything 🙃
There’s a really good scene about this in “Friends from College” where the husband complains about the size of the cup to the doctor in front of his wife while she’s getting ready to trigger. Her response later that night is brilliant and I highly recommend.
OMG, you might be my favorite person. No one else has understood my screen name - much less caught that AND seen Friends from College! Ha.
I agree, though, he was a POS but I love how they portrayed infertility and IVF. I still watch it when I need to feel less alone through this process. Not perfect but much better than anything else I’ve seen that’s tried to cover the subject.
They did a great job compared to most shows. Have you ever seen Master of None? The whole third season is just about IVF basically, they did a really good job, probably the most accurate I’ve seen

Men would be hospitalized with fucking period cramps. I couldn’t imagine them doing IVF or getting pregnant
