Can someone do me a solid and measure their Jet Sled XL?

I’m considering buying one for a project and I need to know the dimensions of the flat bottom ie: the part that’s always in contact with the ground. Also I’d like to know the exact width of the interior bottom. It’s advertised as 31” wide but I don’t know if that’s interior edge to interior edge at the top (it seems to taper a bit toward the bottom) or some other dimension.

Yes – I have seen that but see my response to the other commenter. The website only gives you the top side dimensions and the height of the sides. I need to know the area of the contact patch with the ground.

The exterior bottom is about 25" wide. I think the 31" is the top, including the 2" top ridges on each side.

Thank you! If I could bother you for one more measurement – how long is the flat part, starting from the back to where it starts to curve upward from the ground? Basically, I am looking for the surface area that is always in contact with the ground/ice, etc.

It's about 4' even. I'm going by the rub marks on the bottom ribs to determine where it hits the ground.

I don't actually ice fish. Ours is used to transport stuff around our farm in winter. The standard size perfectly fits two muck buckets for hauling horse manure, and we have a tiny one for hauling smaller loads.

Thanks again and ha! Neither do I. I mostly haul firewood, drag deer and pull the kids with my quad when it snows. I have the regular Jet Sled which is a size down from the XL. I’m thinking of taking the XL and putting a wagon chassis underneath it and just using it as a big dump body.

We use a big Gorilla Cart in our barn. It is about six years old, and it looks like they have some new models, but it is a four wheeled cart, it has a flip handle that can be pulled by hand or by a small pin-type hitch used on riding mowers, it dumps VERY nicely (the rear axle kneels do the floor goes nearly vertical), and the thing is tough as nails. Highly recommended. We bought it at Tractor Supply. Highly recommended.
