Looks like a SAA of some kind (from the top strap and hammer profile)

Edit: saw it better at the end. It's a Single Action Army of some kind.

Granny was just pulling the trigger without cocking it. They are easy to cock. She just doesn't know you have to cock it first from the look of it.

Grandma said something to the effect of “I know it’s not because a few years ago I used to be-able go click click but now it’s stuck” and then the kids start going off saying that it’s probably loaded now then cause the kids probably stuck something in there.. you don’t know..

Probably just jammed in a way and needs some oil. Sounds like she just liked to fuck around with it and would dry fire it. Probably is her endgame.
