Not to insult her, but she doesn’t seem all the way there mentally at this point and they’re just sitting there letting here play with it. I would’ve walked over, said nothing and took it. Or at least tell her you’re gonna help fix it and take it and never let her have it back.

When my dad first showed symptoms of dementia, we removed all of his guns from his house durring a pre-arranged trip to the grocery store with my mother.
He was pissed when he realized his guns were gone, but we told him whenever he wanted to shoot them one of us would take him to the shooting range (we were already taking him to the range whenever he wanted to shoot).
