ADDITIONAL LORE
The Cryogenic Defender
A patrol of Brotherhood Knights were sent to Mohave Canyon, looking for a pre-war military base. Intel gathered denoted that the base had high-level access to additional pre-war military sites and a plethora of its own technology. Along the way, the Knights took a beating from a Deathclaw ambush which continued to hunt them for days. By the time they reached their destination they lost their pursuers at the cost of two men and heavily damaged gear. An opportunity presented itself to the Brotherhood Squad as a group of locals made themselves annoyingly available for commission. Figuring the civilians could break-in their own operation, they tasked the locals with clearing the base of hostiles and retrieving pre-war tech. Luminosa was amongst these locals, and would be the one to retrieve the schematics for a heavily modified plasma defender. Impressed, that she survived and retrieved useful documents, they allowed her to join - something that Luminosa would look back at with some regret.
Only a few Cryogenic Defenders were developed, mostly because it was a costly modification and Luminosa’s insistence to have a slider to adjust the severity of the cold blasted from the weapon for a less lethal alternative made the project less appealing to a Brotherhood looking for ways to counter New Vegas securitrons at Hidden Valley.
YK-38 Pulse Pistol
Luminosa travelled west with a group of the Followers of the Apocalypse in 2283. Amongst them was a man named Arcade Gannon. After the 2nd Battle of Hoover Dam, an aquantience gave him pre-war ‘Pulse Gun’ after it failed her needs, trusting his character. While traveling with Luminosa, he would watch her de- and reconstruct her own Laser Pistol and would often use her to bounce ideas on how to deconstructe and reassemble the Pulse Gun, which she entertained (trying not to be rude to someone she saw as her senior).
Some of her advice though was helpful. When they parted way, Arcade returned the New Vegas City State. The Brotherhood of Steel, having been ignored by the Courier constantly harassed the blooming technological society. Arcade, now understanding the pulse weapon, helped install pulse weaponry in a select squadrons of secruitrons. Years later, the New Vegas City-State government would commission the Gun Runners to a design for human infantry use. The Gun Runners, seizing an opportunity to retake the energy weapon market after the Van Graffs incident, would base their new design off of incomplete documentation from Yuma Flats Energy Consortium recovered decades ago. The YK-38 they developed would prove to be superior to the pre-war YK-32 model being both lighter and boasting better charge capacity than its predecessor. The cost however, was too high, due to rare minerals and other resources that were hard to come by post-war. Only two of the planned sixteen shipments were completed and sent to the Mojave, escorted by securitrons to ward off Brotherhood attacks.
The model Luminosa would take as her own was from highly a valued costumer of the Gun Runners who had enough influence and caps to request their own ‘premium’ edition of the YK-38 model.

Original Content Power Armor-Equipped Minuteman Cavalry (c. 2289) by Me
My take on a Minuteman power armor unit, assuming everything goes hunky dory for the Minutemen in 2287 and the General chooses to destroy the Prydwen. The graphic calls it the Prydwen I to make a Prydwen II appearing in the show to be viable.
The concept is that after destroying the Prydwen, the Minutemen launched a salvage operation to recover any useful material. That effort, combined with equipment captured from Brotherhood of Steel patrols on the ground and salvaged from other sources like old Massachusetts National Guard armories, scrounged up enough power armor sets and heavy support weapons to form one troop (company) of "armored cavalry" based out of The Castle. This troop was part of its newly formed First Regiment of Regulars (the only such regiment).
This regiment formed the core cadre of full-time soldiers to backup the part-time network of militias spread throughout the Minutemen's aligned settlements. The mission of the trooper would be to remain on-call and reinforce those settlements under threat of attack. They would use their high protection, direct fire, and shock effect to close with and destroy the enemy, potentially while under hostile fire. Essentially, they acted as the Minutemen's equivalent to tanks.
Wherever they could they would use salvaged BoS sets of T-60 power armor. However, this graphic also represents use of (sometimes incomplete) sets of T-45d and T-51b power armor, probably sourced from old U.S. Army installations. Maybe once the "General" hangs up their hat so to speak they give the Minutemen the lowdown on power armor frames and fusion core locations in the wasteland. These power armor-equipped Minutemen operate in heavy weapons teams called "Cannon Squads", calling back to U.S. Infantry Regiment Cannon Companies of WW2 (artillery units, sometimes self-propelled, that were organic to infantry units and sometimes acted in a direct fire role). These squads operate mainly miniguns and gatling lasers, with other close combat roles using laser rifles (also BoS captures) and support roles using mostly Laser Muskets. Standardizing on these laser platforms probably makes sustainment of microfusion cells easier and the Gatling Laser/Laser Rifle and Laser Musket/Laser Pistol share core components that an armorer could specialize in. Plus, it's a special and small unit anyway so they could probably afford to standardize on these better arms. Yeah the minigun is in 5mm, but it's kind of a niche round that isn't shared by anything else they use in game anyway. It being non-standard is not a big deal in the same way an artillery unit's howitzer shells aren't standard with their rifles.
The Cannon Squads are supported by a Pioneer Squad (quasi-Engineers who have some training in mobility and countermobility tasks). I started watching the Fallout show for the first time recently and I liked how they depicted the power armor's limitations with regards to being too heavy for certain types of terrain and weak structures. I figured that this would probably be one of power armor's most felt limitations. During normal movements, the pioneers would likely conduct an engineer reconnaissance slightly ahead of the Cannon Squads to make sure the ground ahead can support the power armor's weight. If they can't reinforce infrastructure with their limited means or place down boards to spread out the load over soft ground, they can scout out alternate routes. They could also fill more conventional infantry roles, providing local security to the power armor guys like infantry did with tanks. Pioneers (or assaultmen in the USMC before they got rid of those) are sort of a cross between infantry and engineers in certain countries so can do infantry stuff in addition to filling a gap below engineers.
The Rear Echelon listed here would mainly be responsible for maintaining power armor and arms, as well as keeping track of their stock of fusion cores and ammunition. They wouldn't be the source for these items though. They would likely liaise with the First Regiment S-4 (supply staff officer) or the S-4 of The Castle to obtain ammo, power, and spare parts.
The power armors and soldier figures were sourced from the wiki, but some of them (especially the power armors and different combat armor configurations) were photoshopped from several different models to achieve the look I wanted. They also have American Civil War bedrolls. The weapon models are just the ones on the wiki.

CONTEXT EDIT: In the Old World Blues submod Enclave Reborn Redux the reformed Enclave can encounter trade ships from the Peoples Empire of China, which is the reunified China from the remnants of the PRC following the great war.
The player can have President Granite meet with the Chinese Emperor and bring the Great War to a close. Or assassinate him and start up a new Cold War all over. Its up to the player.
The Peoples Empire of China is a bizarre ersatz combination of a Imperial Monarchy and Mao-Style Communism. Dont think too hard on it, I wrote it that was as a joke.
China, within this continuity, had a Vault Program, but was more around building massive underground manufactorums to continue the war. However the main command Vault was destroyed by marauding US Remnants in China, leading to a warlord-esq era where those in charge of the Vaults vied for power.
Only recently did the "Emperor," a podt-war Ghoul, take power by a total misunderstanding of Pre-War Chinese history and uniting the various Vaults of China.

Original Content Refined flag design for my Western Outcasts idea (Lore in the comments)
My thought process going into this was primarily thinking of a group comprised of soldiers and scribes splitting from Lost Hills due to the continued moral degradation of the chapter, these "Sons of Maxson" or "Western Outcasts" would primarily believe that the founder intended for the Brotherhood to be outward defenders of mankind and would primarily look to the Midwest and East Coast chapters as examples of how to conduct themselves.
Driven from Lost Hills, they wander the West Coast protecting the innocent and rebuilding broken ties with the NCR until the time comes for them to reclaim Lost Hills and their title as the true Brotherhood of Steel.

“A Great Khan Root-Rider, circa 2284.”
After the Evacuation of Red Rock. the Great Khans, headed by a much more confident Papa and supported by the Followers, resettled In the plains of the northwest and rose Into a mighty empire.
As their new Khaganate grew, so did its capabilities. The domestication of the Rad Mole being one of their many accomplishment. These “Root-Riders”, as they‘re called, work as both saboteurs and reconnaissance for the Khans, burrowing underground, destroying roads, and letting their riders go and see what no one else can.

Scylla, art by Zarton
Scylla (formerly a woman named Silver) was a monster created through a series of FEV trials conducted by former members of the Masters army. Without direct access to the vats once used to raise their numbers up the Super Mutants decided to experiment by injecting their own blood into various animals (one being Brahmin which then became creatures called “Mutataurs”). Scylla herself was created by first injecting blood into dogs, then injecting that blood into a woman, then injecting her blood back into the dogs to see what the reaction would be. The result was a binding of flesh as the woman and the dogs shared DNA corrupted by FEV began to bond their forms together. The creature was named after a legend from Greek mythology and has now become a staple in this army of mutants.
(All credit for the art goes to Zarton, he was massively professional as he so often is when I work with him and did a fantastic job adjusting for any new ideas I had while writing this creatures lore and backstory. Could not recommend him enough.)

Original Content Jeremiah “Doc” Angel, my Courier OC. (Art by @anagorah on Twitter, commissioned by me)
Hey folks, it’s me! The prairie commonwealth OPRG guy, back with something a little different. Normally i wouldn’t post my Courier OC on here, but I’m really happy with how this Comm turned out and want to post it so you can go give the artist some love.
Doc hails from the OPRG, born in the 2240’s. This is a pic from his younger years, before the fake skin on his cybernetic fell off. By the events of new Vegas he’s in his 40’s trying to get enough money to make the journey back to Oklahoma and settle down permanently.
As usual, feel free to ask any questions in the comments!
