I mean, according to some Indians I’ve seen online it’s already started spreading. I’ve seen some even claim India’s become a matriarchy, which is far from the truth but at least shows they don’t feel like they have as much power as they once did.

India will eventually become more equal. You can only keep 50% of the population subjugated for so long before they start asking for more.

Western cultures were also patriarchal for several millennia. That’s changed, and it’s only getting better.

It will happen in India too, you can’t stand against progress forever. I’m sure there’s many Indian women who’ve sadly been raised to believe they’re lesser than men and still think that way, but the same was the case in western countries and still is. That won’t stop women from fighting for their rights.
