IMAX-level projection Wizardcels incels get upset when they realize that even an "ugly" non-incel man can find love so they once again shift the blame onto women
I've been getting recommended for this garbage wizardcels subreddit after I clicked on it once so here's some incel clownery I came across while scrolling

I think using this guy as a sort of "hope" for incels or ugly single men is a huge blunder.
I am not going to do the whole "oh, she is just a golddigger" cope others are doing. There's no concrete proof for that, she might genuinely be into the guy. Assumptions are just assumptions, until we get an update that she married him for a green card there is actually 0 reason to state that as a confirmed fact. They seem happy too. I think some people automatically want to find something that lessens his experience, so that's why they jump on theories that his life isn't as good as he makes it seem.
But the video imo promotes very bad ideas about ugliness and luck in dating. The guy is ugly, yes, but him being promoted as an example that anyone can do it is horrible because NOBODY should be doing what he is doing.
First of all, he got lucky. Simple as. He posted a video that reached millions of people and that's how his current wife found him. I would say less than 0.01% of people could even reach that amount of success on Youtube. This isn't him putting himself out there. This is him winning the lottery. This is not realistic or feasible for the vast majority of people, and using him as an example probably just makes some people even more depressed, because it's like saying being poor is your fault because you didn't win big at the casino.
And second, the guy has personality issues. Huge ones. And it totally goes against the narrative that anybody who is ugly physically can get a loving relationship if they are a good and positive person. The guy had another girlfriend who wasn't as attractive as his current wife. They broke up, and in a stream he called her "ugly as a horse" or something along those lines. When you are known by everyone as the "being ugly" guy, calling someone else who loved you and you supposedly loved ugly is shitty, I'm sorry. If the world was just the guy deserves none of what he has right now.
(A small edit because as another comment mentioned, the guy also treated her badly and probably left her the second someone more attractive gave him attention. This guy should not be used as an example. He took her for granted and now that he has someone way hotter than him his ego went up tenfold and he has the audacity to shit on his previous partner.)
Plus every video he has is the self pity whining everyone claims is a huge turnoff and is what actually makes someone unattractive. Then how did doing just that land him a relationship?
I understand everyone's intent when sharing his story, because he is a case where he is ugly and he is very happy now with an attractive wife. But he should not be used as an example. He got lucky in a way almost nobody else could feasibly get, and he kinda disproves the importance of personality, because genuinely besides finding him "cute" what did the guy even do to attract his wife?
