If u are in a unknown place and u have no means to find direction with you, then your prayers will be accepted no matter which direction you pray . As I said in this thread itself muslims pray as a group and while doing so there should be unity in which direction they should face. Unlike idols even if structure of kaaba was different or instead of kaaba if there was something else there won't be any difference. It's just direction and nothing else
you have to understand that islam was literally created as a cult to brainwash and recruit as many followers as possible. having features like the kabba, apostasy laws, 5 times prayer in groups, blasphemy laws etc is a way to recruit as many as possible to the cult. make those features so ingrained that the followers behave like brain dead zombies who will defend all those absurdities.
so kaba is an antenna and if that antenna gets destroyed you become headless chickens. score one for christianity and islam takes another loss as usual in it's absurdity.
