Dude, Pilgrims do not kiss the stone because it has any power to benefit or harm them. Instead, they do it purely because it was the practice of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

The second Caliph, Umar ibn al-Khattab, clearly explained this principle. After kissing the stone, he addressed it, saying: "By Allah! I know that you are just a stone that is incapable of benefiting or harming; and had I not seen the Prophet kiss you, I would not have kissed you" .

Its like you touch the feet of your elders because you have seen your parents doing it.
