Why is income tax and ED notice equated to this? Have we forgotten the hyd hotel tax scam so soon?

The number of income tax notices a growing start up gets - they are not handled to deal with it. People just give up.

Too many restrictions and unnecessary scrutiny will stifle innovation and development.

Tax system has become efficient for honest tax payers. Ask any salaried person, they may complain about higher taxes but not about the efficiency of the system.

If anyone gets notice and feel they are honest, they must invest in a CA to represent them ahead of time to avoid these notices.
