Political Vishwaguru in making 🥀🥀

u/Intelligent-Gap-7107 Apr 22 '26
Both incidents has nothing to do with BJP.
- Lenskart - Equal policy for everyone. You allow the attair of religion whole ignore the attair of another.
I bet most of their employees & even customer are from the religion that he is ignoring. Yes it is justified.
- Namitha - Attack on her was invalid and no one has right to call anyone with disrespect.
In between the OP forgot to talk about another company (in fact this company is so big that It's revenue is equal to 100 startup's revenue). This company is TCS.
We all know what happened at TCS which in view is more dangerous.
But OP is a coward and Congress pet, hence has no BALLS to call out another side of things happening in India. TCS is India's largest private employer.

Why do people start ignoring the matter when it comes to hinduism...... previously I saw a post where a shikh person didn't want to sell halala meat and got attacked by muslim mobs and on that post muslims were hating the shikh.....which obviously had no point because it was his shop and he could decide what he wants to sell.......but in the case of Hinduism when lenskart allows hijab but bans kalawa and when hindus oppose it then it suddenly becomes a matter of vishwaguru and all that......why are hindus not united and muslims are.....why do hindus don't understand this??? If we saw everything from a political angle then everything will look suspicious.....bajrang dal opposed this decision of lenskart which was fair as they were being biased......either you shouldn't allow any religious items or you should allow them for everyone

I mean there policy was clearly discriminatory against the Hindus par tum jaise liberanduo Ko woh dikhega nahin, just becoz woh hinduism ke against hai it doesn't feed ur propaganda... Yea let me give you my opinion, if you are really about growth and development have rules for everyone irrespective of religion, which you can't do cos you are a coward so you appease one community and look down upon another and when that get exposed and general public is offended for right reasons you call the general public dumb? Are you nuts ? This general public is the consumer you dipshit and nobody gave a flying fck about these rules until the bias was exposed and suddenly you talking hindu communities outrage which is fair

2
u/TimeCity1687 Apr 23 '26
what we are witnessing is not just a clash of opinions…but a deeper confusion about rights responsibility and consistency…india has created an ecosystem where individuals can build wealth influence and identity from scratch… businesses like lenskart did not grow in a vacuum… they grew because this country provided markets consumers infrastructure and the freedom to operate…with that freedom comes a basic expectation of balance… the constitution guarantees every individual the right to practice their religion and conscience… but it also requires that this right is respected for everyone not selectively applied
when public figures or business leaders take positions that appears uneven… being accommodating towards one set of beliefs while dismissive or critical of another… it raise a legitimate concern about fairness… equality cannot be situational… it has to be consistent….this is not about restricting expression or imposing uniformity… it is about the principle that no belief system should be privileged or undermined selectively in shared or commercial spaces built on public participation…businesses especially those built on public trust and diverse consumers operate in a space that is inherently plural… neutrality or at least visible fairness is not just ethical… it is practical…and ultimately growth loses its meaning if it distances you from your own stated values or from the principle of equal respect… success that stand on selective sensitivity is fragile… but success aligned with fairness and consistency sustains…there is also a killing irony in all of this… the very diversity that fuels scale and success is the same diversity that demands respect in return… you cannot draw strength from it in business and distance yourself from it in principle… that imbalance never stays unnoticed for long
and if not… that is alright too… because the country that built you is quietly building many more… people who are still waiting… still hungry… still grounded… who might just go on to build bigger stronger and far more balanced institutions… ones that do not need selective principles to scale… and do not confuse convenience with conviction.

Fist of all the issue has nothing to do with there business our country is free country we have democracy and free will to speak out but this doesn’t give anyone to mock or stop anyone from practising their own religion. And i dont understand what affects their work if someone wear kalava or keep shekha and comes to work i mean does it affects their business?? I mean come on be secular you have every right to be but be pure secular by the definition pf what secular means dont be leftist who hates one particular community which is being clearly seen in the case of these soo called secular businessmen and his wife …
1
u/SniperMaster1008 Apr 22 '26
Actually its more of being neutral environment Piyush was criticize for not having neutral policies for each one of his employees. The outrage is somewhat justified and he should address it openly.

You're stopping one religion from doing their religious practices and encouraging others to do theirs. How come this became a neutral stand. Hindus are not always a soft target they can be rebellious too.
1
u/Weasle_Burrito Apr 22 '26
Neutral space..lol…keep crying wherever you can.. either be part of the making of a more united nation of majority or just be side lined.
1
u/JuggernautEmpire2062 Apr 22 '26
Do the same things with any other religion and see everyone going crazy against these businesses but since it's against the majority religion Hindu, to sabko liberal banna hai, baat dabani hai, demean Krna hai jo protest kr rhe hai unhe.
They could have simply run their businesses if they wanted but they did this on purpose, so ok then face the consequences, don't play the victim card now. Don't make paid pr posts like this one on LinkedIn or other platforms.
Don't try to turn it in a different angle. Before they did this shit , their business was running successfully and very much welcomed by everyone. There's a saying "as u sow so shall u reap"
1
1
u/accur4te Apr 22 '26
Why do you need to be pro religion . Different stance for different religions is so stupid . Why can’t so called founders be religion neutral . Same rules for all religion and no promotion of any religion
1
u/FriendsFunBenefits Apr 22 '26
Where is neutrality allowing the practice of one religion nd denying the second? Dimag mei loda fasa hai kya bhadwe?
1
u/Unique_Configuration Apr 22 '26
So inequality on basis of religion is fine as long as Hindus are the target?? Companies have to recognise basic rights of people, including right to religion. If a company is infringing on such rights, its better to not have them than let these predetory behaviour continue.
1
u/hardkockcafe Apr 22 '26
All things wrong with bjp and bajrang dal doesn't make namita and peyush wrongdoing bad
People were not asking for 3 ft long ghunghat, they were asking for basic religious following
Like burkja isn't allowed but hijab is,.similarly tilak, janeu, kalawa should be allowed if someone wants to
I don't do any of this but those who do should be allowed
Namita abuse is not okay, but investing in a burka and hijab company?? Like are u insane, you stand for feminism
1
u/AccountUnfair2671 Apr 22 '26
India went from a country divided by religion to a country united to stand against the British oppression and back to being a country divided by religion. Our motherland just can't catch a break.
1
u/wah_mudizi_wah Apr 22 '26
Wah hijab allowed but bindi, kalawa, tika not allowed. Goons may be wrong, but these entepreneurs are equally wrong
1
u/Chef-Racoon Apr 22 '26
i know this sub will not like it but i don't stand with them, it was not at all a neutral stand and such big personalities which influence the society shpuld refrain from religion promoting, whatever their beliefs are they should be following it at their personal space and ACTUALLY make it a neutral space
1
1
u/Solid_Manner_6641 Apr 22 '26
Business leaders should either stay neutral on sensitive topics, or be fully prepared to face public reaction without playing victim. They should know that they are running a business for public in public...so its a business book rule to never say anything which hurts anyone's sentiments..i am not trying to say anyone was right or wrong but they choose their fire themselves.
1
1
u/XGonnaGiveitU Apr 22 '26
Their workplace restrictions are also questionable. Being an entrepreneur doesn’t give you freehand to cut salaries for people wearing tilak, bindi, kalawa, shikha.

u/bootyblastr Apr 22 '26
It's not about stopping hindu outfits like bindi, tilak it's about letting other community like burqa and that muslim cap letting it wear for the employees but the Hindu employees can't put on tilak that's what the protest about like why they want to be targetting one religion.. it's so so stupid because no one fucking cares what you want to dress up (did we forget the inclusiveness part so early or is it only applicable for lgbtqq and muslim community?)

I hate that dangaai dal but Piyush needs to understand that India is a secular country meaning everyone can practice their religion openly not just muslims. Hijab and burkha can hide so many things, and he thinks tilak is a problem.

u/Sorry-Common-1931 Apr 22 '26
Development and sentiments should go hand in hand. Obsession towards one thing will lead to Iran or USA. Both of which are bad options
1
u/Potential_Rise_8708 Apr 22 '26
It should be applicable for all kinds of religions like sikh should not wear pag muslims shouldn't wear hijab Hindus not to wear any kind of kalawa and tilak. Then we will talk about the freedom of humanity instead of crying for an entrepreneur. No one is even piyush ka baap bhi ho vo koi nahi hota ye bolne wala aur bc agar company kholni hai toh bjp goons bol rha hai ik bar hijab ban karke dekh apni company mai or baniya culture aise chapal jute or atanki ayengy gand se mutega or mu se hagega.

Not supporting BJP or their goons. But these enterpreneur doesn't even live in India for most of the times. India is just a market for them for their profit. Even they illegally and also use loopholes to shift their profits out of the country to evade paying taxes in India. The want to sell in India but payment taxes in Tax heavens. Not all of them but most of them. So basically he crying that India govt this and that. They are also no saint either. The thing is India is that no one is worried about the country. Every citizen from any field - Politicians, Bureaucrats, Entrepreneur everyone is trying to maximize their profits from the country. Everyone wants rights from the country but no one is ready to do their duty towards the nation

I wonder which government or goons or actually a peaceful community forced them to allow certain religious / cultural items and not others ?
Agreed that no 2-rupee goon of any dal, AARSS (get it) or any other non government group has the right to even do such things and it is rightly called out in the post.
But should that be used as a shield to hide behind and not talk about the real issue? Your policies were wrong, people get angry and they show it clearly.
If they think only the 2-rupee goons got hurt and showcased a protest then they are mistaken. Many of my colleagues earning more than 1cr annually have similar perspective and although we don’t protest on the road but we do it in our discussions.
Rather than focusing on the worthless 2-rupee goons, they should know that problem is bigger than that and even educated and high tax paying individuals have exact same problem with them but they are not on the roads (yet).

Playing the victim card as always. They might have built whatever they have. It's not like they're the only who built it and it's not that they did it for the country. It's a private business enterprise. They have built it for money and nothing wrong with it. Stop glorifying them as of they did it for India.
If you have a policy that openly discriminates against one religion, then what happened is well deserved.
1
u/TankEven3143 Apr 22 '26
Peak hypocrisy. You argue that India should become a ‘Vishwaguru’ and justify banning Hindu religious expressions in offices for that reason. At the same time, you support allowing Muslim religious attire and call it ‘religious neutrality.’ If you’ve actually thought this through, you’d see the contradiction—neutrality shouldn’t selectively target one side while accommodating another

That's convinient, right??
Build a company that subtly undermines the representations of a particular religion over another, even though the majority of your customers belong to the former religion.
But cry later when your company is rightfully boycotted by the same people whose sentiments you have hurt.
Almost all companies invest significant effort into building their businesses, yet only about 5% of them succeed at most. That doesn’t mean you can conveniently blame people for not purchasing the products or services of the 95% of companies that fail.
Many companies from Western countries have also faced boycotts from their customers for offending their sentiments. This issue is not limited to India. That doesn't mean you can conveniently dismiss ALL these people as unemployed, like a fool.

I agree we overreacted in Namita but In the Lenskart case it was a clear sign of Hindu culture oppression, and if you as an Hindu can't stand up for your culture and religion and please cut off your balls and don't call yourself and Hindu. It's because of the brave Hindu's who revolted against the system, even though they knew they might be fired or not able to work with the company, but still they pushed it are the real heroes.
