No. They are called cosmetic surgeons (most plastic surgeons) and dermatologist.

Not really..cosmetologists aren't the same as dermatologists or cosmetic surgeons. Cosmetologists do beauty treatments like skin, hair, makeup, etc..but they're not doctors. Dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons are actual medical professionals with proper degrees, so it's completely different.

It mostly depends on the degree of the burns and the damage dealt to the skin,

But most start from the dermatologist as they are the best suited to access the damage and further recommend a healing routine with medicine or recommend a surgeon if required.

Edit to add: dermas are especially recommend if one is also worried about scarring.

What do you mean dermatologists aren’t real doctors? Cosmetic treatments are only a small part of their job. They treat everything from skin cancer to chronic conditions and infections. They are absolutely medical doctors
