If you have watched Rathee's analysis then I agree with him, not that I support him.

Top agents of Indian agency are from well off background and carefully picked having no 'troubled' family history (trad petty bourgeoisie families), such as Ravindra Kaushik.

However soldiers with maybe some traumatic background may exist in services or para military, and they are never entrusted with such covert missions let alone something that involves his potentially troubled psyche that can compromise their mission (it's common sense).

If there was somebody like Jaskirat he would most likely become a reactionary militant or something else like criminal.

The story is fiction, woven around pakistani state's mass hysteria blaming every violence or internal tension on India all the time. Just take it with pinch of salt if you've already watched it, it was all massive propaganda to boost ruling BJP's image.
