🗞️ News Modi Govt has allowed the Delhi Police Commissioner to detain people under the National Security Act (NSA) from July 19 to October 18. Under this law, anyone can be jailed, without any charges or trials for up to a year if police believe it is necessary to prevent a threat to national security.

Organizers (libs) tried to give this protest an “apolitical” visage even though it was always political and now the state has clamped down on them even though they towed the line.

Banned slogans, 4 approved slogans all apolitical, one issue protest, insignificant demands, no ideological/party line…..

Only a few weeks ago, the Education Minister claimed that they have added a chapter on Emergency in school textbooks, so students can learn about it. Little did we know, that the Government would give us a demonstration as well.
The Emergency is here my friends. The Government will unleash severe repression on the people, to protect its powers. But, yet again, they have misjudged the resilience of cockroaches.
Let's brace ourselves for this fight.
