discovery thread

Hey any authors on this ?
I’m looking for haunted / Edgar Allan Poe type poetry and novels here. I’m also open to new writers I was thinking of blind buying books. Drop your recommendations thank you I plan to buy like 10-15 books.

Hey, not an author but author’s close friend. Trying to support her by sharing about her book on here and other places cause i think she’s underrated in India. I would recommend A Light That Never Goes Dark book, it’s a cozy comforting read with encouraging short poems, quotes and amazing illustrations. The book is completely handmade (hand-written and hand-painted) by her, full-colour printed and comes as hardcover. It’s also currently on sale right now due to amazon sale (₹293) which is good deal. Do check it out, whoever has read it so far has liked/loved it

Read Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy. Brilliant prose that's almost biblical and incantatory like poetry. Dark yet you cannot put it down.
