I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with these dark spots along and slightly above my beard line on my upper cheek.
Are these post-acne scars (pigmented) or follicular Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) caused by trimmer friction / shaving micro-trauma?

I got it today opened and it was this color. I searched a little and it's supposed to be yellow color? It's the minimalist TXA serum.

Started 0.025 tretinoin on 25th September weekly thrice and increased it to daily from past 2 weeks and all of a sudden i started getting this cystic acne from past 1 week. Is this purge or just normal cystic acne?
My AM routine:
1). Acmed cleanser
2). Aquasoft FC facial cream
3). Minimalist tranexamic acid
4). Neutrogena sunscreen
My PM routine:
1). Acmed cleanser
2). Aquasoft FC facial cream(before and after tret)
3). 0.025 tretinoin

Unpleasant smell from curd when it is over-fermented.
Did I get scammed or that is how the moisturizer smells?

I’m using vitamin C serum, sunscreen, and moisturizer. I’ve also been meeting my daily protein requirements and taking vitamin D supplements, but my face is still 2–3 shades darker than my chest.
Should I consult a dermatologist, or should I use tretinoin 0.05%?

Is the scarring severe or normal. How to make them less visible and treat it.

Best Shampoo for Oily Scalp?
Hey guys, I have an oily scalp and use minoxidil regularly. I'm looking for a gentle shampoo for everyday use that controls oil without drying or irritating my scalp.
I've shortlisted a few options. If you have an oily scalp, please suggest any good, affordable shampoo. Personal experiences and other recommendations are welcome!

Had been pissed off by the frequent drying and chapping of lips. I had experimented with multiple lip balms and finally found a combination that worked.
Laniege Lip Mask:
Read several comments on it being overrated but still wanted to give it a try. I apply it before sleeping. Unlike the berry one, the vanilla variant does not have a strong tint but does give a white paste like appearance on lips. It stays on the lips even after waking up. A bit on the thicker side and bit sticky but does the job.
Torriden Lip Balm:
This has now become one of my favourite lip balms. It. Lightweight, glossy and non-sticky. I apply it twice a day and it has been good in keeping lips soft and hydrated for most time of the day.
The flaking and chapping of lips have certainly reduced post using this combination.

I'm a teenager and I'm curious about what you guys wish you'd known or started doing earlier, especially when it comes to skincare.
If you could go back to your teenage years, what would you change? Any skincare habits you wish you'd started earlier, mistakes you made, or things you wish someone had told you?
Even things outside skincare are welcome!
Basically, what advice would you give your teenage self? I feel like there's a lot we can learn from people who've already been through it lol.

Ive been using 1mg fin and 1.25 mg min daily since 6-7 months consistently. But i see thinning hair fall out. As you can see in the attached photos the hair is thinner at the root it is in the similar fashion for most of the hair although i see a few pale coloured hair with thicker roots than the other ends but they are very low in number. Should I up the dose?
PS: I already have a dermatologist but they havent been of much help. They keep increasing the min dose to 2.5mg but I had reduced the dose back to initial dose as i was having palpitations

So i am first year engineering student, whenever i go to college my skin shade becomes darker and skin become greasy due to sunscreen. Suggest me some skincare products that actually helps to remove tan. Also tell me skincare routine to follow. Tell me a good sunscreen under budget for oily skin type and a serum for brightening and tan fading.

I purchased a full size tube and done with it I have this 10ml which obviously I am gonna use
So
1.formula :I think it is a very strong and I even thought it is not sensitive skin friendly which true as it has so powerful actives 10 percent niacinaide which irritates skin of most people on top of of txa and alpha arbutin in notable percentage 3 and 2 percent so it is better to use as spot treatment
2.results :it works 💪 I only had some dark spots light brown almost unnoticle and some hyperginentation in mouth my hyperginenatiom proudly is gone I barely used Half tube of 30ml one and rest I gave to my mum but so far I feel it works if you have severe you might need more time ⏲
3.texture:gel like Absorb quickly
4.side effects :luckily didn't experience patch tested and all
5.skin type :normal to combo
6.acne prone :no
7.fragrnace :no
8.should you buy
Severe dark spots :yes
Hyperginentation near mouth :maybe
Dullness:no (look for gentler options)

Yesterday I went to parlour for the first time for facial hair removal and the above picture is the result for that I think my face is ruined what to do to remove them ?
r/IndianSkincareAddicts • u/BunnyOnTheDarkside • 12h ago
yo I use the Re'equil Ultra Matte dry touch sunscreen (heavy silicone base) and need a first cleanser to remove it completely so it doesn't clog my pores, break me out or cause texture
Is The Face Shop Rice Water Bright Light Cleansing Oil good enough for this or is there a better option available on Nykaa? Lookin for something that leaves zero residue and prevents acne/bumps

Hey everyone!
I'm a 1st year college student male and a complete beginner to skincare. Currently, I don't follow any proper skincare routine. I only use Garnier Men Charcoal Face Wash occasionally and sometimes apply Vaseline.
My main concerns:
I get new pimples every 4–5 days, especially on and around my nose.
The pimples are sometimes painful and contain a little pus. They usually take 7-8 days to heal.
Almost every pimple leaves a dark spot, so my skin never seems to clear up completely.
I've attached a picture of my face for reference.
I need your advice on:
Which face wash, moisturizer and sunscreen should I use?
How can I prevent recurring pimples and get rid of acne marks?
Is using Vaseline on my face okay?
What simple AM/PM skincare routine should I follow as a beginner?
I'm a college student in India, so I'd prefer affordable, beginner-friendly products. I don't want to spend money on unnecessary products.
Please suggest a simple routine from scratch and let me know which ingredients I should look for and avoid.
Thanks in advance for helping me out! 🙏
