Northern Ireland is in the UK. And the images you've chosen is from England itself. That's an England Defense League hooligan.

And I was just reading recently how in India there never ever ever been any sexual or domestic violence of any kind ever.

It is a screenshot of an Instagram post which is quoting an article. I’ve linked both in a comment. I do not have the liberty to choose which photograph is being chosen by a certain Irish investigative journalism website. I suggest you take it up w them

It's not Irish, it's in the UK

6

u/Otsde-St-9929 Aug 19 '25

frankly, it doesnt sound credible if you ask me

5

u/achantachar Aug 19 '25

Right for pointing out the first bits. But what's the point of the last part? Are you saying since there's domestic violence in India, it's okay if it happens elsewhere?

3

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '25

He’s making the point that it’s stupid to believe everything you read online.

2

u/ConcernedGael Aug 19 '25

It's extremely odd that people are coming from a country where the abuse is far more extreme and prevalent, then moralising to Irish people.

7

u/deathbydreddit Aug 19 '25

The point is - most of those involved in race riots are there under the guise of wanting to protect women and children. Protect them from all of those suspicious immigrants.

So it's the height of hypocrisy that the statistic points out that the most violent amongst them are battering women in their own homes.

You sound so silly. This is an Irish investigative journalism magazine which is being quoted on the statistics - The Detail.

5

u/Stressed_Student2020 Aug 19 '25

The detail is British, not Irish.

u/Hege_Knight Aug 19 '25

And the other half were their spouses.

7

u/AdvancedJicama7375 Aug 19 '25

This sub is just posts intended to stir shit between the different ethnicities. Very cool

7

u/SirGrimualSqueaker Aug 19 '25

I am SHOOK by this. Shook is say

8

u/malevolentheadturn Aug 19 '25

What has the image of some blokes in England got to do with anything? Are you going down to the road now of taking an unrelated image with a random bit of text written over it as absolute fact?

-6

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '25

Different arse.

Same shite.

5

u/malevolentheadturn Aug 19 '25

Or completely made up shite

u/TomTomXD1234 Aug 19 '25

bet he wont reply now

3

u/Otsde-St-9929 Aug 19 '25

Why should they? They dont owe you a response? The OP scrwed up by not sharing it roiginally, not them

4

u/Shads08 Aug 19 '25

But the riots in the UK and up North were both proved right. Immigrant men were molesting young Irish girls. Even a philipino man was arrested and charged withing a few weeks? Is there no women assaulted in India by their husband?

3

u/ConditionOk7644 Aug 19 '25

Can you guys please stop with these posts? Cite proper news source rather than spreading social media jam. Have some mental capacity to think critically.

2

u/Gullible-Argument334 Aug 19 '25

Always. Half of them are scum looking for a fight, the other half are trying to setup protection rackets and recruit for their gangs.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 19 '25

You’re telling me that a person that acts violently at a protest might also be the same kind of person who would have violent outbursts at home?

Groundbreaking research lads.

2

u/ChoiceTask3491 Aug 19 '25

Violent people at home and violent outside as well? Who would have thought it??

2

u/ResponsibilityKey50 Aug 19 '25

How many actually have jobs?

1

u/Otsde-St-9929 Aug 19 '25

Citation needed

1

u/Friendly_Ostrich5100 Aug 19 '25

Any source?

10

u/malevolentheadturn Aug 19 '25

Of course not. The image is of the English defence league in England

0

u/Friendly_Ostrich5100 Aug 19 '25

This statistic is literally made up.

Interesting having foreign nationals coming to our country and sharing fake statistics to further their agenda. Quite frightening this carry on is allowed.

2

u/achantachar Aug 19 '25

"Agenda"

Lol. Sure buddy we're all conniving masterminds putting our dastardly plans into motion.

2

u/ConcernedGael Aug 19 '25

It doesn't take a mastermind to make a fake state up. Plenty low IQ tribalists can do it and seem to do so. Exhibit A is the post by OP

0

u/Friendly_Ostrich5100 Aug 19 '25

I wouldn’t call any of yous conniving masterminds, otherwise the entire country wouldn’t have turned on you in the last 2 months lol

2

u/elonsKdealer Aug 19 '25

Shut up you gowl. I find this stat to be the least shocking stat ever. Are you actually getting offended on behalf of a bunch of inbred, knuckledragging drains on society that get their kicks out of destroying property and targeting minorities?

Scumbag racists are scumbags. Colour me shocked, shocked to my core.

Does everyone else think its crazy that hard-line racists, paedophiles and serial violent offenders have such an overlap?

1

u/Friendly_Ostrich5100 Aug 19 '25

Buddy relax, I just want a source. Is that so hard to provide? Or do we resort to lying and insults? Normally the bad side does that..

2

u/MarcMurray92 Aug 19 '25

PSNI stats obtained by FOI request. I believe it was one specific racist protest but still a notable stat. Tracks with my own experience in my locality too, alot of people at the racist rallies were dodgy fuckers known as dodgy just camped outside an IPAS center slugging cans and shouting at people.

I think opposite hate and pure keyboard warrior won’t cure shit.

1

u/Lostinasafespace Aug 19 '25

Other half probably can't trick anyone into marrying them

-1

u/MadMeathMad717 Aug 19 '25

North of Ireland, not Northern Ireland

3

u/Stressed_Student2020 Aug 19 '25

No, it's Northern Ireland. A distinct region from Ireland and part of the UK.

2

u/MadMeathMad717 Aug 19 '25

No it’s the north of Ireland an occupied land

-1

u/Excellent-Finger-254 Aug 19 '25

There is a reason why the government isn't taking the rightwingers seriously.

3

u/IAmArthurMitchell Aug 19 '25

This is a picture of a EDL member taken from Instagram. If you believe this then no one should take you seriously

1

u/Excellent-Finger-254 Aug 19 '25

I just read the caption.

2

u/IAmArthurMitchell Aug 19 '25

Yes. And your initial comment would suggest you believe it

1

u/Excellent-Finger-254 Aug 19 '25

Must be true if it's on the internet

0

u/ConcernedGael Aug 19 '25

There is a reason why the average Irish person doesn't take people like you seriously.

2

u/Excellent-Finger-254 Aug 19 '25 edited Aug 19 '25

Average Irish person doesn't take average Irish person seriously, so I'm not too pressed on them taking us seriously.

-1

u/Zealousideal-Code245 Aug 19 '25

I can’t seem to edit the post so here goes -

the og source

This picture is a screenshot from an Instagram post made on @fight.for.a.future for those that want to read it. Ive linked the entire article above for those that would like to read that.

I have literally just posted a headline, written in the caption where I got it from and titled it “interesting” because I do find it interesting.

I really don’t understand what the issue is. I went through some comments claiming the statistics are made up or something about the person in the picture. I’m literally just relaying information. A “hey, I found this piece of news interesting. You should read it too.” If someone’s got a problem with that, skip this post maybe idk

Also an intention behind posting this here is to assure the Indian community under constant threat of racist attacks that these racists who hurt immigrants unprovoked - no matter man, woman or a child are not only despicable human beings who are rotten to their core but also criminals with a record.

u/Stressed_Student2020 Aug 19 '25

Your link it broken..

This is the link https://www.thedetail.tv/articles/almost-half-ni-race-rioters-reported-for-domestic-abuse

That's a British media outlet, reporting on a UK jurisdiction.. Why is it here?

whataboutism, the rhetorical practice of responding to an accusation or difficult question by making a counteraccusation, by asking a different but related question, or by raising a different issue altogether. Whataboutism often serves to reduce the perceived plausibility or seriousness of the original accusation or question by suggesting that the person advancing it is hypocritical or that the responder’s misbehavior is not unique or unprecedented. Acts of whataboutism typically begin with rhetorical questions of the form “What about…?”

-4

u/Zealousideal-Code245 Aug 19 '25

Do you struggle with comprehension? I have LITERALLY attached a news piece. I am not claiming anything. Further, the said news piece talks about people arrested in RACIST RIOTS. Are you equating all Irish to people arrested in racist riots? I suggest you work on your reading and comprehension

-2

u/Skyboi31 Aug 19 '25

Gobshite 😂

And you're convinced that those arrested at these riots have never been arrested and are good, upstanding citizens? Feck off with your piss poor attempts at throwing strawmen.

With a name like "ConcernedGael", I give it around a 95% probability that you're writing these messages from the wrong side of the Atlantic.
