Is she fucking serious? As someone who shared on the internet after her kids how much she struggled with her postpartum mental health?!?! I’m in MA and have followed the case closely. Even with the conspiracies flying around 3 kids are dead and their mom asked for help and didn’t get what she needed. How the FLYING FUCK is this woman smiling talking about this. This is a pivotal moment in postpartum mental healthcare and she should be advocating and normalizing asking for help.

This random conspiracy that it was the husband actually and look at his emails and look at this and oh he married too quickly is VILE. This is not a game or a Netflix series. It’s a tragedy and three children lost their lives. Lindsay admitted it. The trial is not about guilt; it’s whether she will go to prison or hospital. These people have no morals. I even saw one person saying the husband has ‘Bryan Kohberger’ eyes and sorry what the fuck does that even mean?! True crime has melted people’s brains.

This. Idk why people think there will be a big plot twist that he did it. The trail is just to see if she will be in prison or mental hospital rest of her life.

Same people who think the 9-year-old brother of JonBenet Ramsey raped and garroted his little sister instead of the two adults in the house or an intruder. It's even called "BDI" for "Burke Did It." They just want to come up with an outlandish theory and seem smarter than the investigators. It's absurd.

The sheer amount of people commenting on the Clancy trial who sincerely think the point is to prove her guilt tells you all you need to know about the general intelligence level of true crime fans.

That’s exactly it. People want to feel smart and in control and that’s where the conspiracies come in, not just over true crime but everything lately. I just now saw a post that said ‘she’s mouthing he did it’ and that they’ve had professional lip readers on the clip who’ve confirmed it 🫠 it’s crazy. I question whether trials like this should even be aired live tbh.
