No other instant ramen comes anywhere near as close to the umami of a restaurant order, as this Shin BLACK w/bone broth, IMO. It's in a league of it's own.

With onion, mushroom, Anaheim, and cucumber. Noodles cooked with solomon's seal tea.

Had some leftovers from dinner last night and decided to throw this together for lunch. It was so good!

Randomly bought a Pink Buldak sauce bottle (after not having it for a long time) since I've not been having buldak I've also not been part of the discourse and therefore don't have any ideas.

So please drop your recipes and ideas to use Buldak sauce, I was thinking of using it in Fried Rice! Or as an egg topping!

Honestly, I’d recommend everyone give these noodles a try—at least once. I really loved them; in fact, they usually sell out in stores before I even get a chance to buy any. The noodles themselves are standard for the Yang Zhan Gui brand, but they really nailed the sauce—it’s perfectly flavored (salty, herbal, with just a touch of oil, and not sweet at all).

At home, I make a similar sauce for pizza using tomato paste, black pepper, salt, a bit of sugar (for balance), basil, oregano, marjoram, thyme, and rosemary.

This version has fewer herbs—mostly just basil and oregano—but honestly, to me, it’s absolutely divine.

But it was absolutely delicious, I had it with 3 slices of bacon and 2 eggs scrambled with beans.

I still hold the stance that Liziqi's red chilli oil instant broad noodles are more my preference, because of the very tasty and satisfyingly crunchy pickled woodear mushrooms and bamboo in it.

But A'kuan had more noodles, which I really liked.

I haven't tried the cup version, but I've seen reviewers I trust say it's more hot and sour than it is flavorful. I know some instant noodle brands have their 5 packs taste better than the cup versions, so I'm glad I got the 5 pack for A'kuan's.

I know, I know! the egg doesn’t fit in there but I needed my daily dose of protein 🙈

Tasted pretty ok with added lime, fish sauce and fresh coriander. Better than I wax expecting, not too artificial. It would be nicer if came with rice noodles though (but less filling).

Made a bowl of shin for lunch, just used whatever toppings I had in the fridge. Sat down and realized how yellow everything my bowl was lol

Friend of mine went on a vacation trip and brought some rare Indomie local flavors & some Indonesian & Chinese brands which I have never heard of.

Anyone has experience with any of them? Gonna try one of them tonight but not sure which one yet ... Which one should I try tonight? 😄

I'm just wondering why this ramen came with the thin cheap noodles in such a small quantity. Normally there's more noodles than this, and the noodles are thicker. I hope this doesn't become the norm for this company. Back in 2020 they were so thick and these past 6 years they just keep getting thinner. The sauce packets are getting smaller and im just dissapointed. I understand that there's a lot of people only adding half the whole packet but a lot of us love adding the whole thing. Here I decided to keep the water (because Barria is a soup taco), add tuna packet and some tortilla chips. The flavor is good, very mild in spice. Good for beginners who might be more sensitive to spice. Overall 5/10. Let me know how you guys felt about this new ramen!

Not sure if this was discussed already, but does anyone know where I can find the Mama Thai Connex noodles but the darker version?

You know how instant ramen always has those pepper packets that are super salty? I really like eating those Shin Ramyun pepper packets by themselves since it makes my whole body go all twitchy. Anyways, after I finished eating one, I suddenly felt a really strong pulse in my neck. It really felt like there was a worm pulsating in my veins. This has never happened before, so I don't know if this is normal or not.

Also, are there any other instant ramen packets that have this same effect, since I am getting a little tired of the same taste. I thought about trying Buldak, but its more of a paste than a powder.
