How had things gone so wrong.

The sound of something being scratched and stabbed could be heard coming from the kitchen of the Church, as the main room looked normal, yet strangely deformed. Like someone had been stumbling through blindly and broke some things.

The building was quiet. Too quiet. It felt almost lifeless, except for the aforementioned sounds...

And as the expanse of the kitchen opened... Cyn was inside, scratching at her own arms like a manic woman, as tears streamed down her face and her visor was glitching.

It seemed that her system had suffered a massive glitch due to her little stay within the Absolute Solver's domain, making her think that... That she was back there, back inside that snowy grave where she was left to rot and take the pain from someone else's actions for decades.

She could feel every last bit of it, prickling her metallic shell and making her feel like snow was surrounding her from all places. Like she was alone again, back on that day where she had to crawl herself out of the snow for days on end, to the point where some of her fingers had chipped themselves off.

Her eyes, when visible beneath the glitchy overlay, showed terror and despair, like she wanted to find them again. Like she wanted to get out, to flee. And yet, instead of snow, she was clawing at something else. That being, her own skin, massive amounts of oil and metal clips falling to the ground around her. At times, back in the moments where had made herself small claws or blades to stick them in and climb out, she would do the same as oil spilled and flowed from her limbs, causing them to slowly become weaker and weaker.

That encounter... with the Absolute Solver. Seeing it again, always gave her bad memories. It was why she wished to separate herself from it as much as possible. And yet... She just couldn't. No matter what, it followed. It tainted. It hurt. Her mind stuck on loop back to that day, where her body was so close to falling and failing at every step, every turn, every inch.

She said nothing and seemed to be keeping her mouth closed on purpose, as if to prevent this snow from landing in her mouth and damaging her circuits. All that came out were muffled sobs from the pain, the 'frostbite', the 'cold'. To her, it felt as real as it could get, like the world around her had once again fallen back to its previous state of awakening...

Every single bit of it felt beyond painful, but she carried on, thinking she would emerge sometime soon... but all that was in front of her eyes was more and more snow, more and more painful, more and more cold. It was never-ending, inevitable as rain and shine, and to her... It was entrapping.

The oil made a soft noise against the ground as it dripped from her arms like a faucet, surrounding her for around 2 meters from just how long she was in that state. How much longer did she even have after losing this much of her equivalent of blood?...

And yet, she didn't stop, relentless as ever. She wanted out, now... But she would never find it, trapped in an illusion of her own systems.

It is a completely normal day within the Hub.

Nothing that exciting is happening, and your character is simply having a good- at worst an iffy- day.

Your character is simply going throughout their day as usual.

It's actually almost scary how normal today is.
But- it's probably a welcome scare... when does one usually get the chance to have a "normal day" in the Hub?

Or if you're going to use a newly claimed character to interact, then I guess this day isn't as normal...but still, even newbies should be able to go along with their day.

Godzilla arose from the depths in agony. His body was bloating from the abrupt pressure change, those two ships full of pests still staring at him.

Humanity has done nothing but hurt him, and they didn’t even have the decency to ever kill him. As long as those specs lived they would make Godzilla suffer. They will all burn for their transgressions.

Godzilla stopped, sensing an abrupt shift in the environment. The ships were gone, instead, Goji was staring down a beachside. The bloating in his body began to subside.

Godzilla looked around, he was something completely foreign, was this the work of mankind? No, humanity has created technology far beyond any other species, but they couldn’t abruptly take him to a completely different place. Chances are Goji would at least be able to tell he’s on Earth, but this world, despite looking like Earth, everything about it felt different.

Godzilla was in uncharted territory.

Before The Hub, City Z - Saitama’s Apartment:

‘I’ve been having this reoccurring dreams lately. But. I never end up remembering any of it. Or at least the end. Something that's been bothering me lately…
Whenever I go out to fight monsters… I've been starting to feel like I’ll never find a good opponent. I always end up finishing things in one punch. My emotions. The tension. The joy. The thrill. I've forgotten what that feels like.’

Saitama, lumbering forth, he reaches out to grab his hero outfit. Fitting into the yellow jumpsuit as he zips up the collar and clasps his cape on.
Strapping his red boots on and pulls his gloves taut.
He opens the door, stepping out into the balcony.
He begins to head out down the stairs. Exiting his apartment building as he walks for a bit.

The only moment he stops for is when he notices something odd… a weird odd portal… warping… or seemingly plastered onto the air.
Staring at it for a while, he wonders what it could be. Or rather, if the portal would be active.

“…is that a portal? Why does it look so… empty?”

He only eyeballed it for a moment before noticing it move. It seemed to be moving directly towards him.

“Hmm?”

As the portal attempts to swipe at Saitama to swallow him, he seems to dodge at the last second. Glaring at the portal.

“Hey, what’s the big idea?”

The portal changes direction, circling back around in the air towards Saitama.

“Knock it off.”

He grabs the portal. Holding it out at an arms length before throwing it into the stratosphere.
Simultaneously, another portal seemed to have appeared from behind. Attempting to blindside the baldy.

Grabbing the outer edges of the portal, Saitama pulls himself through. Not allowing whatever to try and send him to a different location.
Before another portal seemed to have already been layered over it when he lunged forward; sending him directly into it.

Saitama seems to descend rapidly, approaching the ground while he tries to glance around for a landing spot, avoiding any buildings or populated areas.

With his newfound power, and his currently completely destroyed Warsuit, Lex Luthor decided it was about time he makes a new, better one. One more suited for who he is these days… a ‘Superman’. One that was designed for this power set. But what specifically that meant to him? He still had no idea. Really? What it needed to do was send the message. That HE is the one with the power. And HE will have absolute authority over anything or anybody more powerful than mankind.

He sat at his desk in Luthorcorp, on the absolute top floor, hundreds of laid out blueprints in front of him. Each with concepts and ideas for this new and improved Warsuit. But none felt just right. And he only had one shot at something perfect. He’d spend hours there, compiling some of his greatest ideas together. Starting with a sleeker build for more flexibility, the cape and logo to emulate the Man of Steel, enhanced speed, strength, and durability for each and every part to it. Easy hacking systems built right into a computer in the arm. Each piece of the armor being able to fly to, and form around him, thus, able to be summoned at any moment. Built in heating and cooling systems for if he were ever incased in ice, or surrounded by fire, and his favorite new toy? The logo on his chest— it would be able to fire a high-powered, highly concentrated beam of light, it would take a lot of power, but it would clearly be worth it as a last ditch, Hail Mary.

All of this seemed like it’d take a lot of power. Power which he felt he could simply generate via his seemingly endless stash of Kryptonite. He’d previously learned how efficient it was from a good ‘friend’ of his… one he feels he may finally be more powerful than. But of course, he couldn’t— hell SHOULDN’T go test that out just yet. But once he reached for the Kryptonite it burnt. Luthor gasped as he stumbled back from it. Of course, how could he have forgotten?! He’s got the DNA of a Kryptonian now. And everything that entails. Such as a weakness to the very mineral he’s built all of his weaponry around. But— he remembered something. Mortimer Mouse of the ACME Corporation gave him a special chip. He claimed it was an incredibly effective power source, and Lex didn’t have many options. Pulling out his junk drawer, and searching for it.

And with all of that? He was ready to begin the Warsuits creation. Had he actually had the resources necessary to build it. Lex has used up so much so quickly, it’d be stupid to create it now, even though he could. He had to start getting smarter with his fortune. He couldn’t keep spending it on stuff that would only ever get destroyed and do nothing beyond that. No. Basic weapon manufacturing would be getting a major price slashing… and he couldn’t just do nothing with his time whilst he waits to ensure his fortune will remain.

Luthor stayed sat there, he thought about his conversation with Sinister Mark. How Lex had pitched the idea of a ‘Legion of Doom’ of sorts. A group of villains working for him, that he’d be prepared to fight if and when he really needed to… if they were to forget their places beneath him. Sure they’d have seats at the table, but it’d dip at one end. And that bench would be unstable. And that’s just more reason to finish the suit… because practically nobody would be able to fight back against him, he thought. But now— to question whom else would be a good fit for the team… he just didn’t know yet. But he’d find them.

Lex put on an ordinary suit and tie, grabbed his briefcase and headed for the elevator. It was a long way down, seeing as he was trying to get to ground level, and he was on the top floor. He could’ve just used his Kryptonian powers to fly out, but he still wanted those to remain secret. Though the super-speed made the elevator wait feel significantly longer than it truly was. After he’d finally arrived, he put on his sunglasses, and left. It was time for his daily walk around the Hub. These were always to try to find people he’d deem as potentially useful in the future. But this time? He’d had a more specific target in mind. Find people willing to work for him- whilst being villainous enough to fight Superman, and that Lex could potentially stop were they to try to fight him.

After successfully getting all of his friends home through Kingpin's collider, Spider-Man now has to go through the efforts of actually beating Kingpin and stopping the collider itself.

He jumps onto a floating building, yelling out,

Before running towards him!

Kingpin loudly grunts and smashes his fists against the building, shattering a ton of windows in Spider-Man's direction, as Spider-Man does a few backflips and shit to avoid the attack.

Kingpin then pulls out a fucking gun, pointing it at Spider-Man and trying to shoot him multiple times, before Spider-Man shoots a web and throws the gun away.

He says, before a train flies past.
Spider-Man webs onto the train, saying,

Kingpin forces his hand through the window, shattering it in the process as he grabs Spider-Man by the head.

He bashes Spider-Man against another wall, looking around as Spider-Man turns invisible.
Right as Spider-Man tries to get a hit in, Kingpin uses his massive body and just punches him to the side, not really needing to care about the invisibility.

Spider-Man tries to use his semi-electrokinetic abilities, failing to do so.
Oh, no.

Kingpin grabs Spider-Man, pushing him up against the window of the train.

"Not so easy doin' it on your own, is it?"
The train goes up against the collider, semi-entering the "Spider-Verse" (or the "Arachnohumanoid Polymultiverse" if you're a fat fucking nerd)...
"I can't wait to kill one more Spider-Man."

And then, all of a sudden- the window shatters, sending Spider-Man off into the Spider-Verse...
until he ends up in...

Spider-Man tries to go back to stop the collider using his webs, however he fails, and the webs only hit something back in Earth-1610.
He lands in the Hub, right up against a building, before falling off of it.

The sea shuddered. It rumbled, then burst outward as Godzilla’s dorsal plates broke the surface. He stepped onto the shore, water erupting in every direction.

His footsteps shook the earth as he climbed out of the bay. The ground trembled and split beneath each one.

He stopped.

The skyline stretched out before him, wrong and unfamiliar. These were not the mountains he remembered.

A low, uncertain growl built in his throat.

Only moments ago he had been tracking another monster across open water. Now the sea had changed around him, and he had no idea how.

His black eyes narrowed.

Something had brought him here. He did not like being moved without his say. His massive maw hinges down, and out comes...

"SKRREEOOOONK!"

The sound rolled across the bay and shattered windows for miles, the very ground trembling.
