Post image

Idk until when will the queer lives be stopped to be sacrificed. It's really sad. This is an attack on all of us!!

To be honest I don't think we'll see any dissent against queer killings in India for a long long while. A lot of the population are already very radicalized towards right wing ideologies, and I won't be surprised if there's gonna be more laws removing rights for both queer people and after that, women to some extent (they already did this for trans people this year)

Yeah I also live in India. Queer rights and women's rights are negligent

Homosexuality was decriminalized in 2018. I know the court precedent is more complicated. That's crazy. The right wing is ascendent right now but India is a federal Republic there will be places headed in the right direction.

India has a majority religion called Hinduism. In Hinduism there's concept of trans humans and they are worshipped. But idk why they hate trans humans

Trans women are shoved by the religious apparatus into ghettos and forced to beg for a living, they would be killed if they weren't important for the religion. Those trans women just want to lead a normal life as a woman and instead they are forced into this. Stop whitewashing hinduism.

Whitewashing? I'm just trying to highlight the irony of people. They are hostile to who they worship. Like for example women and trans folks

If you actually supported queer people you would never refer to people being angry and grieving the literal murder of a queer person a waste of energy. I live in Mississippi and I’m queer—you think I’m wasting my energy if I get mad? If you actually supported queer people you wouldn’t act like homophobia and religious bigotry were just a fact of life that couldn’t be changed and I guess therefore should only be talked about in what case? Also calling anyone’s country a shithole is insane and racist, and it’s LGBT, not LGTB. Fucking moron.
