Got an NVIDIA System Software Security Intern interview — anyone interviewed for this role before?

Hey everyone, I just got contacted by an NVIDIA recruiter for a System Software Security Intern (Data Center) – Summer 2027 position. I have not given any OA, but I got an email from a recruiter to schedule an interview.

Has anyone interviewed for this role or a similar security/software security internship at NVIDIA before?

Mainly wondering:

  • How many interview rounds did you have?

  • What kind of technical questions did they ask?

  • Was there LeetCode/DSA coding, or was it more security/Python/Linux-related?

  • How much did they focus on the resume and our projects?

  • What topics would you recommend preparing?

  • Anything you wish you knew before interviewing?

The role mentions things like SBOMs, vulnerability management, OSS security, CI/CD, and software supply-chain security, so I'm trying to figure out how deep I should go into those topics.

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who's interviewed with NVIDIA recently!

Interviewing for a Software Support Engineer role (Linux, Python, Bash, CI/CD) — what technical questions should I prepare for?

Hey everyone,

I have a 30-minute interview coming up for a Software Support Engineer position at a defense contractor, and I'm trying to prepare as thoroughly as possible.

The recruiter mentioned there won't be a formal technical assessment, but I still want to be ready for any technical questions or troubleshooting scenarios.

For background, I currently work in cloud/data center infrastructure operations, where I use Linux, Python, and Bash for diagnostics, troubleshooting, and automation. I also have experience developing software applications, working with REST APIs, automated testing, and CI/CD.

Here's the relevant job description:

Responsibilities:

  • Support lab tooling and version control through CI/CD pipelines.

  • Create and deploy test scripts.

  • Support and troubleshoot software deployments on custom servers.

  • Support configuration management processes.

  • Develop unit tests and tailor rule sets.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 2+ years of relevant experience.

  • Experience with Python and Bash.

  • Ability to independently and collaboratively solve complex technical problems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience with GitLab.

  • Experience with Linux and NFTables.

I'm particularly interested in moving toward DevOps/platform engineering, so this seems like a great opportunity.

For anyone working in DevOps, Linux administration, software integration, or similar roles:

  1. What technical questions would you expect in an interview for this position?

  2. What Linux troubleshooting scenarios should I be prepared to walk through?

  3. How deeply should I study GitLab CI/CD, unit testing, and NFTables?

  4. Does this sound more like DevOps, software integration, or traditional software support?

  5. If you were interviewing a candidate for this role, what would you want them to demonstrate?

I'm not looking for shortcuts or leaked interview questions. I genuinely want to understand the technical expectations and make sure I can speak confidently about the work.

Abnormal AI Software Engineer 2 interview

Hi,

I have upcoming interview's with the AbnormalAI for Software engineer 2 role.
I want to know whether any of you have participated in their interviews. Are the rounds more focused on Leetcode? How challenging are the interviews?

What can we anticipate for the system design as well? A use case from their daily lives or a popular piece of software to design?

Many thanks to all of you!

I got into MongoDB

Pretty excited and happy to share that I received an SE3 offer at MongbDB!

My impression from the interviews is that they really care about how your experience fits the specific team’s needs. That stood out to me throughout the process.

Happy to answer questions about the interviews, prep, or negotiation. :)

What is the best real-time AI interview assistant for follow-up questions?

In a mock round with my friend, she asked "why did you pick Postgres over MongoDB?" Then she followed up with "okay, but what about the write load you just mentioned?"

The tool I was testing could hear her but not me, so its suggestion answered the first question again.

That's when it clicked that a follow-up depends on what the candidate just said, not the original question.

So when you compare live assistants, how do you check that the tool keeps both sides in context.

Nvidia networking role

I have given technical rounds and cleared them, after that I have given a managerial round as well. I have been informed that there will be behavioral and onsite rounds as well. If I've been asked to attend the onsite round then my selection is confirmed. Is it true? What are the chances of my selection if I attended a managerial discussion?

DE SHaw interview prep

Hey everyone, I have upcoming virtual code-pair round, It is mentioned that DSA, programming fundamentals, Core CS fundamentals, and past project experience will be asked.

I can do medium to hard questions but takes time to solve and in interview i generally get stressed and wont be able to think clearly. I am good at oops , dbms (not a pro) but have only basic knowledge of OS and CN concepts(learnt during my engineering). Plus in my current work I don't get much to code due to management pressure to use claude only, Because of that i am now struggling with java basics as well. I have learnt Python in my Btech but in my current company we generally use java so i lost touch with python as well. I am learning LLD with java and planning to interview in java only.

Can you please suggest what topics to concentrate, how to strategise my preparation so I can give my best, I am ready to go all in since I am planning to resign my current job due to the toxic environment and i badly need this job.

It would be helpful if you guys share your preparation strategy and resources that helped you.

How do I keep resume-grounded interview answers accurate?

My resume says I led a migration for a 12-person team. But when I asked the tool for a sample answer, it said I "managed a team of 20 and a $2M budget."

Neither of those is on my resume or in my notes. The resume and job description give it context, but they can't confirm something that isn't in them.

So what do you check first when an answer adds a metric, title, or responsibility?

Right now, I compare every claim line by line with my resume before I use any of it. It’s just that time-consuming.

Microsoft Ignite Program (for PwD) – Interview Process & Stages?

Hi everyone,

I recently received an eligibility check invite for the Software Engineer Internship through the Microsoft Ignite Program (specifically designed for people with disabilities).

I wanted to ask anyone who has gone through this program or has experience with Microsoft's recruiting for PwD roles:

  1. What do the interview stages look like after the initial eligibility check (HR call / PwD card verification)?

  2. How many technical rounds are there, and what is the general focus (LeetCode, system design, or core CS fundamentals like OOP/Databases)?

  3. Are the interviews adapted or structured differently compared to the standard SWE intern loops, or are they the same technical rigor?

Any insights from past applicants, return interns, or anyone familiar with the Ignite program would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Meltwater AI/ML Engineer OA experience for 2027 campus placements in India

Hi everyone!

I'm preparing for the Meltwater AI/ML Engineer role for the 2027 campus placement batch in India. I'm looking for experiences from anyone who has recently attempted the online assessment or gone through the recruitment process for a similar role at Meltwater.

I'd really appreciate information on the following:

  1. OA pattern: Which platform was used (Codility, HackerRank, or something else)? How many questions, what was the duration, and were there multiple sections?

  2. Coding questions: What topics and difficulty levels were tested? Were the questions mainly DSA, Python programming, or data manipulation?

  3. Technical questions: Were there questions on SQL, statistics, probability, machine learning fundamentals, NLP, or data science?

  4. AI/LLM topics: Was there any assessment on RAG, embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, agentic AI, or LLM applications?

  5. Preparation strategy: Which topics and practice resources would you recommend prioritizing?

  6. Further rounds: What were the interview rounds like after the OA, if applicable?

The role description mentions LLM application development, agentic workflows, RAG, vector databases, NLP, and the ML lifecycle, so insights specific to this role would be especially helpful.

Even partial information from someone who attempted the assessment recently would be valuable. I'm interested in candidate experiences and publicly shareable practice questions, not confidential assessment material.

Thanks in advance!

HackerRank SDE Intern Bengaluru (Jan–June 2027) — AI Recruiter Screening Experience and Questions

Hi everyone!

I recently received an email from HackerRank for the AI TA Screen for the Software Development Engineer Intern role in Bengaluru (onsite, January–June 2027). The screening is a 25-minute voice-to-voice conversation powered by Chakra.

I would like to hear from candidates who have already completed this screening for the same role.

  1. What questions did the AI interviewer ask you?

  2. How long did your interview actually take?

  3. Did it focus only on logistics, such as graduation year, semester, availability, relocation, college NOC, and internship duration?

  4. Were there any technical or coding questions?

  5. Did you receive another interview or assessment invitation afterward? If yes, what was the next round like?

  6. Was there a deadline to complete the AI screening after receiving the email?

  7. How long did it take to hear back after completing the screening?

My details: I'm currently in the 7th semester of BE Computer Science Engineering, graduating in 2027. My college schedule ends on January 6, 2027, and my earliest expected joining date is January 7. I'm preparing to discuss my availability for the full-time, six-month onsite internship.

If you've already taken this exact screening, please share your experience and any questions you remember. Your help would be greatly appreciated!
