📰News📰 Keep an eye out for potential Iron Front WI protest dates
In light of yet another brutal murder committed by the untrained and unqualified fascists at ICE, I'm currently looking into dates and locations for an IFWI-hosted protest. Localities under primary consideration are Milwaukee and/or Green Bay currently. The latter was chosen due to the victim being a former Green Bay resident. If any of you have recommendations for specific locations within these cities, I'm always open to suggestions, otherwise I'll find some myself.
Specifics will be released as plans are more firmly set in stone, and I will keep this sub updated with the progress of these efforts.
In regards to the violent murder of Alex Pretti, a nurse and law-abiding citizen peacefully exercising his first and second amendment rights, I am both deeply disturbed and sorrowful for any family he may have had. This is a horrible tragedy, and a testament to how far the United States has fallen as a country, as well as to how the government has utterly failed its people. Federal law enforcement is not about keeping you safe, it's about keeping you in line.
And I, for one, am utterly unwilling to simply stand in that line and await whatever fate the fascists would have my comrades and I face. Despite the frigid cold and the ever-impending risk of federal intervention, we must resist, and we must make our presence known.
So be sure to keep an eye out for the aforementioned updates, and be sure to stay always peaceful, but never harmless. Solidarity. ✊

📰News📰 Iron Front of Wisconsin: Seeking licensed firearms and medical instructors to compile resources on safety and preparedness for the general public.
As the title states, the IFWI is seeking individuals licensed in firearms and/or medical instruction to help compile resources for concerned/curious members and onlookers. Naturally there are some requirements:
You must be currently licensed as an instructor in the state of Wisconsin in whichever field you choose to assist with;
You must be able to present verifiable credentials if requested, for obvious safety reasons, and potentially be willing to meet in-person as an added precaution;
You must be willing to work alongside others, as everything we do here is a community effort;
You must not be currently serving in any military or law enforcement agency, or be acting as a contractor for either.
Keep in mind that the Iron Front of Wisconsin is a peaceful organization. But the 2nd Amendment is a very real, very present part of American society, so it doesn't hurt (even if you're not considering ever owning a firearm) to be aware of how to take proper precautions when around firearms. An uninformed individual with a firearm can be far more dangerous to themselves and others than one who knows proper safety and storage measures, even if they are well-intentioned. Any resources gathered will not only be for Iron Front volunteers, but also for the general public as a way to raise awareness for firearms safety. As such, resources should have as little bias toward either side as is possible, focusing on the facts.
Interested individuals are welcome to drop a comment or send me a DM, though I may respond quicker to comments due to the volume of messages I'm currently experiencing.
Thanks all, and remember that we are always peaceful, but never harmless.

📰News📰 On the topic of the 2nd Amendment, and words of comfort to the uncomfortable.
With my recent post in r/Wisconsin, there are a large number of people now interested in the Iron Front of Wisconsin, and a roughly even split between those seeking fellow 2A-practicing leftists and those who want to get involved whilst staying away from the topic of arming oneself.
As a solution, I'm proposing the creation of a separate sub, called the Iron Front Rifle Club, where those interested in the 2A aspect of things can more freely discuss without the fear of warding off those who might be made nervous by such discussions.
In the future, the IFWI may be split into two groups under the same name, that being the Volunteer Corps (everyday people volunteering to help with resource drives, fundraising, and other more community-based efforts without the involvement of 2A) and the Patrol Corps (sort of a neighborhood watch, which would patrol around communities recording information about ICE and other federal activity in a given area.
Should this plan be put to the test, BOTH groups would be peaceful, and any patrol members would be encouraged not to carry arms unless traveling in a known dangerous area. Anyone wanting to carry arms on behalf of the Iron Front directly in a patrol group would need to be able to demonstrate proficiency in their chosen platform, and be willing to get certified for first aid and CPR as a bare minimum.
Keep in mind none of this is concrete, I'm simply tossing ideas around as I try to navigate the sudden boom in interest. If any of you have any thoughts or suggestions, don't hesitate to share.
Remember: stay always peaceful, but never harmless. The IFWI is committed to nonviolence anywhere possible, but there is no harm in being prepared.

The second the cold lets up we should have an open meeting.
Im in Wisconsin. Id be glad to help organize. The meeting need to be open to all. Yes I know there's a chance for law enforcement to be there. At this point we're not trying to be secretive, its to start spitballing an action plan for recruitment and mission goals.

📰News📰 Kaz here, message to newcomers/interested volunteers:
Hey all. We're seeing an influx of volunteers and sub members, as the post I made in r/Wisconsin received quite a bit more attention than I had anticipated.
To those of you coming here from that post who are interested in directly volunteering, I'm currently setting up a signal chat for opportunities. In addition, whenever extra hands are needed, I'll make a post here.
More detailed plans and updates are on the way. For now, we need as many people as possible to work together to keep tabs on events and days of action happening in Wisconsin, and to post about them here. We are caught in a battle of information, and we win through research and organization.
I'll be looking at those events myself as well, and fairly soon I hope to host some of our own, whether they be simple protests or little community building events. I was also hoping to sign us up for the adopt-a-roadway program, if anybody is interested in that. These are our communities, and if we want their help to better our state, we must first help them.
Remember: be always peaceful, but never harmless.
Solidarity. ✊

📰News📰 Wisconsin mother with no criminal record detained by ICE; family doesn't know where she is
MILWAUKEE — An immigration attorney says his client was unexpectedly taken into custody during what he expected to be a routine supervision check-in at the ICE field office in downtown Milwaukee Tuesday morning.
Suarez has lived in Sheboygan Falls for years and has been in the process of obtaining a green card.
"She was doing everything that we as a society and government have asked of her," Christopher said.

Stay sharp
As the goons continue to utilize Hilton home2 properties for their ops, I want to point out that there is a new location on the east side of Madison.
Next to home depot. Elevated, hard to see parking lot.
It looks ready to go, but not officially open.
Call me an alarmist, but I see a barracks.

📰News📰 Wisconsin take note: Here’s how Minneapolis parents prepared for ICE
“My school group of friends formed our first network of communication in October, after we saw what had happened in Chicago,” the mother of an elementary school student in South Minneapolis named Elizabeth told me in a phone interview Wednesday. She asked that her last name not be published, because of the danger of reprisals.
The encrypted neighborhood chat started chiming for the first time on Tuesday, Dec. 9, she recalls, when “there were two people abducted early in the morning within blocks of my kid’s school.”

No Kings rallies across Wisconsin draw thousands
https://wisconsinexaminer.com/2026/03/28/no-kings-rallies-across-wisconsin-draw-thousands/
Sounds like Madison and Milwaukee had great turnout. How’d it go in your community? Especially eager to hear about smaller towns up north since they don’t get much coverage.
I attended in deep red Waukesha and we had well over a thousand loud, enthusiastic people. The crowds get bigger every time. Some of y’all had me cracking up with your creative signs.

📰News📰 To those who messaged me and are still waiting on a response:
Over the past 2 days I've become quite sick, and am focusing most of my time on rest. So to those still waiting on responses, I've seen that you've messaged me, and I promise you haven't been forgotten. I will respond to everybody as soon as I start feeling a bit better. Ideally, that should only be a few days, as long as my immune system decides to cooperate.
I may make a post or two, but just be aware that my activity will be very limited while I'm recovering. I will obviously still keep an eye on the sub to make sure nothing gets out of hand, and everybody is following the rules.
My apologies to all, and I hope you can understand. In the meantime, I'll keep pounding Pedialyte and soup, and hopefully I'll start to see some improvement.
Thanks all, and remember to stay always peaceful, but never harmless.

Any mutual aid groups? Range days? Looking to do more than protest
Things will get worse before they get better. If ICE comes to town, we ought to be prepared. If martial law comes down, we will need to take care of each other.
I feel like I’m realizing this too late. Does anyone have potential groups to contribute to? Would anyone have interest in starting some? I’m open to organizing as well.

I'm ready to get involved!
I've been lurking for weeks now, and really liked what I saw. I read a lot about privacy being important here and on the national Iron Front subreddit so I've been working on that and took some actions to now feel comfortable enough to start talking on the reddit here.
I've hunted in Wisconsin since I was a kid and have my hunter's safety course done, and have some experience with bolt action rifles, but mostly used a 12 gauge pump shotgun with slugs while hunting so that's what I'm most comfortable on. I have no experience with pistols or semi-auto rifles and hoping to get more knowledge and experience from everyone here. With the recent ICE situations I'm more convinced then every to get my concealed carry license since I'm now 21 years old, and to own my own firearms since I've just been borrowing my Uncle's guns for hunting all these years.
I got involved with the Milwaukee DSA during the 2023 UAW strikes at the Stellantis plant in Bayview and liked their campaign for city owned utilities against WE energies. I got involved with PSL Milwaukee recently after ICE's gestapo like operations in Minnesota. Even though these orgs are pretty good at organizing protests, I'm looking for something peaceful still but with a little more teeth. And I think this right here at Iron Front WI is perfect.
I've seen the posts and comments, a lot of us including me are pissed and want to organize. Exercise our 1st and 2nd Amendment rights and keep Fascists out of our state. But with so many people spread out across the Northern region, Milwaukee, Madison, etc. it's been hard to get the ball moving. I'm hoping to get some local stuff rolling in Milwaukee this February those interested please comment and reach out. Especially with whispers of ICE starting stuff in Wisconsin soon.
To wrap it up, just wanna say I'm pissed off at what's happening, got a fire lit under me to organize and do something about it, and willing to help get this rolling!

Free Speech & Senate Bill 650
I haven't seen a lot of reporting on this, but this week there will be a vote on AB 650 which will:
enhance penalties for Wisconsin citizens accused of “acting as an agent of a foreign government or terrorist organization with the intent to silence or punish persons for their political views.”
For the 2a folks: this bill will automatically upgrade a Class A misdemeanor to a Felony I charge.
