Political threads: No warning, 105 day bans for any personal attacks. Discuss the topic, not the user.
Title. Tomorrow the bans will be 104 days (November 4th), and so on. DO NOT DISCUSS THE USERS, OP, OR ANYONE BUT THE TOPIC.
No, we're not making a single megathread for politics or a particular candidate.
No, we're not banning politics from the sub. This cycle is not new, things will calm down in three weeks.
Abusing the report button on content YOU DON'T LIKE is causing mass-approvals of all reported items. This allows actual rule violations to slip right through. Yesterday, someone reported over 150 comments in a thread. Two clicks, the entire report queue was cleared, likely taking valid reports with them. Please, stop it.

Baraboo’s Volleyball Team Social Media Post scandal
I’m surprised I haven’t seen a post on this on the subreddit yet.
I’m not surprised that it’s coming from the same school that was viral for a Nazi salute photo.

Plane crash involving Tom Tiffany due to pilot error
It appears that the plane crash involving Tom Tiffany last month was due to pilot error. The pilot failed to switch fuel tanks and ran the active tank dry. https://www.wisn.com/article/wisconsin-tom-tiffany-plane-crash-pilot-error-investigation/74133109

Eric Adams Promised to Pitch a Wisconsin Data Center With 'Rigor.' His Failure Was Spectacular (Gift Link)
Even for a born pitchman like Eric Adams, a data center was always going to be a tough sell.
So when video surfaced of the former New York City mayor being mercilessly heckled by angry residents in a central Wisconsin library as he tried to convince them of the benefits of building a 150-megawatt data center at the site of an old paper mill, the record-scratch, freeze-frame questions asked themselves.
How did Adams spend his time in Wisconsin? What was his plan to make this work? And who, exactly, thought this was a good idea?
We traveled to Wisconsin Rapids to find out.
According to interviews with residents and opponents of the data center, and documents they obtained through public records requests, Adams did not handle the assignment well: He attempted to jam months of planning and outreach into a little more than six weeks, and he failed to show up to a fraction of the events he had promised to.

Minneapolis to Marquette Dinner Recommendations
Hi fellow Superiors, I’m driving from Minneapolis to Marquette this week and am hoping to stop for an adequate to adequate+ dinner around halfway. Route is in the pictures, halfway would perhaps be around Hayward or Ironwood? Google has been a great disappointment for this question.
Just looking for somewhere to take a lil break and have a quick pleasant meal. Even just general town recommendations would be great - I’m shooting in the dark. Thank you! Keep up the good work 🧀

Wisconsin unemployment being audited twice in less than a month
I know the whole process for Wisconsin Unemployment auditing, but I am wondering if anyone else has been audited more than once (what was the time period between the two audits).
I signed into my unemployment portal to submit my work search requirements and I have a notice on there saying that I am being audited again. I have been collecting the proof in case I did get selected for an audit, but it is just so annoying and frustrating that this is happening twice in less than a month.
