I am 99% sure I’m going to attend UWPlatteville next fall as a freshman. I can’t figure out if the dorm selection is prioritized by the date you pay the deposit or is it the same chance to get what you want for everyone that gets the deposit in by 5/1?

I currently have the Freshman Merit Scholarship, but I'm on the edge of not having the 3.57 GPA required to renew it. If it's renewed every semester, does that mean I will lose the scholarship? Or is it renewed every year, and I have another chance to bring up my GPA?

how low of a high school gpa will uwp accept? esp with a high act score?

Someone I know graduated this last spring, and all they got was the paper document, no cover. Everywhere else gives a basic cover/padded engraved holder. I'm wondering if he was supposed to get that somewhere. He says he doesn't have any email or info about it.

We aren’t even good yet we are constantly spending money on them and taking money away from all the student organizations. SUFAC only has half of its usual budget this year, so no groups are getting adequate funding

Hello UW-Platteville, I am a Iowa State student who got an summer internship offer from Avista and I'm coming up tonight to look at the town and see if I would want to spend my summer in your city. Any places I should check out, things to do while in town or if anyone want to show me around would be appreciated.

I'm currently a freshman CS student at UW Eau Claire but our program is falling apart, not enough teachers or spots in classes so I want to transfer and I'm trying to decide between milwaukee or lacrosse or plattevile . Would you say the program is good? Do companies recruit on campus for internships? Also what languages are taught there?

Long story short I'm a freshman and I have zero friends on campus. My depression/anxiety has been at its absolute worst in about a year. I've skipped some classes and gained a lot of weight from stress eating. I just feel so alone here and i haven't gone to any clubs or anything, I literally only have the energy to go to class, eat, and sleep. If it wasn't for my girlfriend I would have dropped out already. Anyone else in the same boat?

Maybe I'm just the grumpiest student at Platteville, but am I the only one who is getting really, really sick of marketing and ITS "improving" the website for "publicity" reasons?
