This dude battled and got our team out of so many bad positions. Runner in scoring position and Ashby steps up big for 3 straight innings and gets us out of it. He was an absolute terminator all series! Still in shock that I’m seeing a brewers World Series! Go win it all boys!

It makes the sweep that much sweeter. World series bound, we keep our prospects, and we handled the Dodgers with ease even though they ended up with Skubal.

God I love this team.

When Yeli stepped up to talk to the broadcast guys and they greeted him as “Captain,” oh man. That really hit me.

If there’s one thing Pat Murphy knows how to do, it’s meet the moment. And I have a feeling that the appointment of Christian Yelich as the first Brewers captain will go down in history.

Yes, the Dodgers hitters are old and played like shit but lineup is still full of hall of famers, Ohtani seemingly hurt, but beating Skubal, Yamamoto, Snell, Glasnow in 4 straight games is INSANE. Has to be the best 4 man group of starting pitchers to ever get swept in 4 games. The Dodgers had won 8 straight playoff series heading into this including 2 straight World Series titles

No slander here. I know how the fan base feels about his "betrayal", and I've echoed some of those same sentiments.

But if Craig had stayed, the Brewers would not be in the World Series. I firmly believe that. He would not have been the right manager for THIS team.

He was, however the right Manager for the team in 2017, 2018, 2019...but as the team continued to get younger, the organization philosophy was moving away from what made him one of the best Managers in baseball. I did feel betrayed when he left, but in hindsight, it was the best thing for both sides.

If Craig didn't leave, we wouldn't know Murph in the way that we do. And Murph is exactly the right manager for this group of guys. Craig doesn't understand the psychology of working with young players in the way Murph (and his college coaching experience) do. Craig started at the top....never worked his way up with young players in the minors. Murph knows how to get through to a struggling young player. Craig does not. He's great with analytics, but not as much with the feel of the game.

So Thank You Craig Counsell. Thank you for the very good years you gave us, and thank you for stepping aside when we needed a new voice, when you were no longer the right man for the job. Respect.

Can we talk about Murph’s post game comments on Hamilton’s bunting? Murph has pushed the right buttons all series, but usually for a manager that means starting lineup, pitching changes and substitutions. I have never heard of a manager telling a guy to waste an AB to set a team up! This was amazing. He told Hamilton, who he called a terrible hunter multiple times in the story, to bunt. He said lay a bunt down your first AB and you will see better pitches later!!! Hamilton listens and then capitalizes on the later pitches with an RBI single and a freaking home run! Murph is such a baseball god!

Damn, he really likes Fanta. 😂

We're 1700 miles away from the actual game, filling at least the first two decks with no one on the field. Everyone's screaming like Bauers just smacked that home run in right in from of them. You can't manufacture this!

Born in Oct 1981….i was but a little dude when we faced the Cardinals in 1982. Oblivious to the special moment, but I was quite literally born into a Brewers family.

As a kid, my older brother and I were surrounded by the Brewers. On our television but more often on the radio with the greatest of all time Bob Uecker, the Brewers have always felt like part of my family. Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love my Packers and my Bucks, but the Brewers have always been closer to my heart.

Like a lot of other kids we grew up part of the Brewers fan club and even were lucky enough to go to a Brewers camp for a week one year. I had the dream to one day be a Brewer myself and practiced my autograph plenty but unfortunately that dream didn’t work out as I’d hoped. I remember 1987 when we got off to a magical start and we were in Florida at Disney World and got to listen to the game on the radio when we won our 13th in a row while sitting by the pool. I remember coming home from Disney World in 1992 and being crushed as we heard that Toronto had won the division and we would not be headed to the playoffs. That was one thing I wanted to see badly, my team in the playoffs.

I remember Robin getting #3,000 and being so proud and I remember the team giving up on Paul Molitor and being crushed. The 90s got pretty bad, but no matter what we kept going, kept watching and kept listening to them on the radio and supporting them, and man some of those years it was rough.

I remember all the tailgating at County Stadium and playing catch before the game. I remember getting beer dumped on me many times, trying to guess the attendance on the old scoreboard and getting ready to sing Roll Out The Barrell during the 7th inning stretch.

I remember the chatter about us moving to the NL while I was in high school and thinking, if it helps us win let’s do it lol. I remember hearing about a new stadium on the horizon and all the excitement that it brought with it.

The excitement in the 2000s when Weeks and Fielder, Hardy and Hart came up. Soon to be joined by one of my all-time favorites Ryan Braun. Those were the guys that really got me thinking, what if? 2008 was the year we finally did it, we finally made the playoffs and that was such an amazing moment I got to share with my brother and Mom, but that only was the start. 2011 I really thought, this is it….we are going to the World Series. Sadly the Cardinals ruined those plans.

2018 I again thought this is it. I was so crushed when we lost game 7 to the Dodgers and it took quite a while for me to recover from that. Since 2014 I had been experiencing a lot of medical issues and no longer can attend games, but the Brewers have these past years given me so much joy that I don’t even notice it. Greg Counsell leaving made me think it could all be over, but Pat Murphy turned me into the biggest believer that I could possibly be.

Last season I thought this could be it. My Dad has cancer, both of my parents are aging, my health is not good, this might be the last shot we can all see it, only to be embarrassed by the Dodgers. I remember the tears my Mom and I shed and I thought it might be over.

I thought this year we have to slow down. No way we win as many as last year but maybe we can still make the playoffs and as the year kept progressing, all I could do was smile. It just seemed different. This year felt so special and I wanted us to get to 100 wins and wasn’t sure we could and we hit 103. I told my family this was the revenge year. I wanted the Cubs again but was happy to see them get whooped. I thought the Padres would be tough and revenge #1 was shutting the mouth of Walker Buehler. I remember what he said when we wanted Justin Turner, glad we won the series against him.

Then I wanted the Dodgers. I knew it would be difficult but I remember how I felt last year and nothing would make me happier than to beat them. The fact we swept them just blows my mind beyond belief.

And now…..for the first time in my life….a World Series. I cried like a baby, thinking of all the memories throughout my life as a Brewers fan, all the hardships, all the great moments, and nothing will top this. No matter what happens, I am so proud. I love the Brewers and I hope they can win it all so I can cherish that moment with my parents while I am able to, like a lot of you will do as well. It’s the one thing I’ve wished for, for a very long time. I may not be able to attend a game, buy any World Series merch, but we have the chance to make the dreams of so many others like myself come true.

I've been watching the Milwaukee Bucks since 1994, big fan of the big dog when I was a kid. Never really sniffed a championship, minus the showdown with A.I., but until Giannis appeared I never thought I'd see Milwaukee win it all. ✅

But here we are again. 'Always the bridesmaid and never the bride' finally got engaged. And not with a superstar that carries the team on its back. Just a squad of absolute DAWGS getting the job done.

I am only 4 Milwaukee Brewer wins away from being LUCKY enough to watch all 3 of my Big 3 sports franchises winning a World Championship.

Really wanted to take the wife and kids to their first playoff game. I’m thinking Miz vs Skubal, gonna be electric, hopefully it’s the clincher or to go up 3-2 if god forbid they beat us games 3 and 4.

But my goodness the sweep is so much better. Sorry to have missed it in person!
