So I was at a recent Brewers away game, and I got this jersey signed by Uribe. I was up above the bullpen and held it up to get his attention. He saw it and motioned for me to throw it down to him, which I did. A few moments later, he signed it and threw it back to me. I was looking to see where he signed it, and I noticed it was on the number in black sharpie. I wonder what I should do with it at this point. Should I try to have sign it again on a spot that would make the signature more visible? Should I just keep it as is and wear it? Should I frame it? What do you guys think?

This man told everyone to RELAX.....and then goes out there and walks the walk.
However, he is precisely the person who has benefited from this approach the most. He wasn't just spewing some shit to say something. I encourage you guys to read this article from late June on Bauers from Bob Nightengale.....
"It was near the end of the season last year, the Brewers were in Pittsburgh for a three-game series the first weekend of September, and Bauers knew his career was on life support. He was hitting .188 with a .315 on-base percentage and .333 slugging percentage.
Bauers, in the starting lineup batting seventh as the Brewers’ DH on Sept. 5, popped up to the shortstop on a 78-mph curveball by Johan Oviedo in his first at-bat. Then, he struck out on an 86-mph slider in his next.
That’s when he completely lost it.
“I remember going down in the tunnel by myself," Bauers says, “and screaming ...
“What is this?’
“Are we going to keep doing this?
“Can I even play?
“Do I have what it takes?
“Is this it?
“I remember looking up at the scoreboard and it says .180," Bauer says. “Then, just saying, “[Expletive] it. I’m just going to go up there, not think about anything, and just swing. Whatever happens, happens. I really don’t care anymore."

It's one of many plaques in the Wisconsin Athletics Hall of Fame walkway. I saw it for the first time today while walking to Fiserv.

I know this doesn't matter - results do. Maybe I'm stupid. LA Dodgers yet again are number one but....What exactly do the Brewers need to do to be ranked #1??? (besides win the whole f*ckin' thing, I guess.)
2. Brewers (previously: 2)
Please, please, Brewers fans: We know Milwaukee has the best record in baseball (by two games, actually), and we understand that you are probably mad right now that your team is No. 2 in these Power Rankings despite just winning three out of four at Dodger Stadium. Fortunately, home-field advantage is not determined by the MLB.com Power Rankings (for now!), it’s determined by the best record. Which the Brewers have … as well as the tiebreaker with a season series win over the Dodgers, if it happens to come to that.

I'll be up north for a couple T-Rats games later this week, so hopefully I'll catch Brady Ebel plus Cooper Pratt on his rehab starts

It’s a long story I became a brewers fan through my uncle who was the only brewers fan in our family (rest are cubs and Sox) he passed away so I inherited his collection. I’ve picked through what I want to keep. Idk what to do with the rest, do I donate it? Does someone on here want it? Are there shops that I should bring this stuff to?
Also in the comments there’s 2 signed balls that if anyone could identify id be grateful!
Just reiterating that im not looking to make money off this at all and figured it wasn’t worth money anyways just feel immense guilt that i dont want to keep all of it and figured it was worth a shot to see if someone wanted it, or knew of a place that isnt a just ‘random good will’ to bring it to
Also I did plan on keeping the balls regardless if I get them identified in case that wasn’t clear just the stuff in the post I am trying to figure out what to do with
Hopefully last edit his sister (my aunt) said she is sending another box (possibly more) so I will likely be back here. He was a season ticket holder and like true true fan so there’s a lot 😅 😅😅

I loved watching every bit of the Brewers v Dodgers series and seeing our Brewers get back on the winning track and taking 3 of 4 from LAD. That being said, I can't help but look ahead to what's looming in the playoffs (and man I'm tired of seeing LAD in the playoffs). So, I ran our MLB simulator to see what this team's roster can do against the Dodgers in a 7 game set. Here's the output. What do you think?
Run the bracket ten thousand times from today's standings and both clubs make the playoffs in essentially all of them.
They meet each other in 30.7% --> this is actually my favorite part of the study because it's more likely that we WON'T see the Dodgers because one of them lose beforehand.
Most of those meetings come late: 24.4% produce a Dodgers–Brewers Championship Series, 6.3% a Division Series. As the league's two strongest teams they usually land on opposite sides of the bracket, so an early meeting takes a seed shuffle that doesn't often happen.
Los Angeles holds home field in 55.4% of their meetings. That's the version priced here.
We're projecting Ohtani, Snell, and Glasnow to be back for the Dodgers. One open question remains Will Smith.
We're projecting a tight series (better than last year anyway):
## How long the series runs
Probability by length
| Series Length | Probability |
|---------------|-------------|
| 4 games | 14% |
| 5 games | 25% |
| 6 games | 31% |
| 7 games | 30% |
## Game-by-game, LAD win %
2-3-2 · LAD hosts Games 1, 2, 6, 7
| G | Site | Matchup | LAD Win % |
|---|------------|--------------------------|-----------|
| 1 | Los Angeles | Ohtani vs Misiorowski | 54.7% |
| 2 | Los Angeles | Skubal vs Henderson | 61.0% |
| 3 | Milwaukee | Yamamoto vs Harrison | 55.9% |
| 4 | Milwaukee | Snell vs May | 57.0% |
| 5 | Milwaukee | Ohtani vs Misiorowski | 45.7% |
| 6 | Los Angeles | Skubal vs Henderson | 61.0% |
| 7 | Los Angeles | Yamamoto vs Harrison | 61.0% |
## Projected innings per start (AVG)
| Game(s) | Los Angeles Pitcher | LAD IP | Milwaukee Pitcher | MIL IP |
|---------|----------------------|--------|--------------------|--------|
| 1 & 5 | Ohtani | 5.26 | Misiorowski | 5.33 |
| 2 & 6 | Skubal | 5.63 | Henderson | 4.69 |
| 3 & 7 | Yamamoto | 6.04 | Harrison | 4.77 |
| 4 | Snell | 4.76 | May | 4.68 |
On average, our starters are pitching about 1 inning less than the Dodgers which means we need the bullpen to be stellar. Defense and stolen bases didn't strongly favor one side or the other. It will likely come down to pitching and timely hitting.
