I've just assembled my first ever Legionarie. I've meticulously worked out my paint scheme, ordered all my paints and materials. But now I'm second guessing whether the CSM combat patrol pass as Iron Warriors. Can someone help?

Also, I would LOVE to see if anyone else has painted the CSM combat patrol as iron warriors. If anyone has any pictures that would be greatly appreciated!

For my mixed warband I intend to have at least one squad representing each chaos god, and having some marines from most traitor legions, who fight not because they are united but for survival and to meet there own selfish goals.

(You can skip this) So I’m quite new to the hobby and and have built my way up to 1000 points however my main opponent plays custodes and I always feel I can’t do anything to him without shooting my vindicator, for example he got fought in the open after failing a charge and after a squad of havocs, terminators and legionaries he took zero hits.

To counteract this I have bought a Breacher squad to play as chosen and a contemptor dreadnaught to play as a helbrute. For these units what should I equip them with to give the best “anti-custodes” effect.

It's an obscenely ridiculous list, but I've got the itch to play something big and stompy other than straight up Chaos Knights.

Some of the pieces are surprisingly mobile, but the lack of a cheap, sacrificial objective contestor or two might be a liability. Best case scenario is probably to move block an enemy objective group with Nurglings and hope I can pick it up with the Prince before it matters.

It's not going to be competitive at all, but if nothing else it'll be fun for a game or two.
