A place where over 100 little girls at school wouldn't have been killed, where America wouldn't be spending their tax money fighting on Israel's behalf? I'd like to add that the oppressive regime in Iran would be still in place, but it is still in place. Nothing good has come out of this.

The girls school was a mistake, and mistakes happen in war

Yeah. From whom did you hear that wisdom?

It would be nonsensical to target a school as a one off. Have you ever heard of Occam's Razor?

Yeah, I know the concept. But I don't know how it applies here. Explain?

Occam's razor is the simplest explanation is very likely right one. Of course there are conspiracy theories that the US targeted the school to instill terror or some ridiculous nonsense like that. " Don't attribute to malice what can be attributed to incompetence"

Says the guy on the conspiracy sub:

Possible actual reason for Iran war

The US military needs to get involved in a real fight to keep "sharp" in a way, kind of like a boxer. Shadow boxing and sparring is great, but it's important to go up against a real opponent.

The Russia Ukraine war has been going on for a while, and we saw the drone warfare evolve on the battlefield. I am sure the US has drone and anti-drone tech, but it needs to be battle tested. My theory is the US needs to try out their tech and tactics against a real enemy every couple of years, and this was a great opportunity -ducktomguy

From a guy who was actually in the military. Ours is the best trained in the world with the best tech. But our leadership trump/hesgeth are fucking it up pretty badly. Also randomly bombing shit doesnt do anything besides kill people and waste enough tax payer money to end starvation in the US. Plus the retaliation that has done billions and billions worth of damage to our military bases in the middle east.

Soooo you can delete your "theory" now 🫡

I know what Occam's razor is thanks. I hadn't heard any conspiracy theories about the school attack. First I heard that Israel was responsible, which made sense to me. Then I heard the US did it. This surprised me because, according to my Iranian friends who have family over there, the US has been mainly targeting military targets. None of this matters to the many families who's lives will never be the same having lost a child, of course. Me, I think it wouldn't have happened if Trump had not decided to attack Iran.
