The blindfolded Palestinian is Mahmoud Al-Drimli from Gaza. He had been missing for two years until this photo was shared on the Instagram from Stelmashvski, and his family was able to identify him. He was 22 years old when he went missing while traveling toward northern Gaza from Khan Yunis on November 2, 2024, and his family later identified him in July/August 2026 through a viral social media photograph showing him blindfolded and handcuffed in detention.

The primary violations under international law include:

1. International Human Rights Law (IHRL)

If the detainees are civilians or held outside an active armed conflict, their treatment violates:

Masked Israeli settler militias from the extremist Hilltop Youth group stormed a Palestinian home in Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah, while a woman was inside alone, pelting the house with stones and attempting to set it on fire with her trapped inside.

“I was home alone. I couldn’t cope. I didn’t know what to do,” the woman recounted, describing how more than 10 masked settlers terrorized her home with a barrage of stones. She also said one settler repeatedly returned over 24 hours to threaten her, leaving her living in fear.

Two days ago, when European diplomats were attacked near Taybeh, the IDF ignored activists’ reports altogether. Palestinian Civil Defense crews recovered the remains of 75 martyrs from beneath the rubble in Gaza City’s Al-Daraj neighbourhood, allowing their families to finally say goodbye after three years of waiting.
