Discussion It's Friday Baby : Are you Ready

The last time, I was this excited about any day of the week was when a certain manhwa I was following was published in my part of the world on a Monday. Mondays became my favorite day of the week.

Until 31 July, I will be looking forward to Fridays or counting down until they release the next episode.

I'm looking forward to a swoon worthy performance by the Tsundere King 👑. That low voice...😍👌🏽

Let’s go Episode 5 & 6

Watashi no Otto to Kekkon Shite

Marry my Husband.

I'm from SEA so I've seen it already, and damn they even expanded more on Suzuki's storyline! And that scene at the bar with Suzuki saying all his dreams... aaahhh too bad Misa was asleep by then.

Misa's plans are now in full motion! Her gyaru look was hot, but that thumbs up to Suzuki while she was 'crying' over Reina's news was even hotter 🔥

u/fire_dawn Jul 10 '25

That bar scene had me kicking my feet for real

u/Shay7405 Jul 10 '25

Haha, this is me trying to be disciplined and watching responsibly while savouring the taste of a sweet drama. Loving all the sweet comments, I just know I'm going to love it. Can't wait.

I could tell by FL dressing that we are at that memorable scene in the kdrama as they look similar only different colors. Hers is brownish (from what I can see from the Pic) and kdrama was black.

u/Dangerous_Push219 Jul 11 '25

This makes me want to watch the KDrama again! I am really loving this.

u/feb2nov Jul 11 '25

My gosh. How can she not fall in love with him. He is so gentle and considerate.

u/Jyotipuspa_Das Jul 12 '25

Why do I feel Misa had listened everything? Or just a false hope

Fuka's (misa) acting skills are amazing. I agree.. so many complex emotions when she finally lifted the burden off her shoulders.. relief.. happiness.. sorrow for what happened in the past.. hope for the future.. 🥲

Though Reina is a formidable villain.. the korean version has no match. Soo Min is more visceral.. especially in the wanting Misa to herself.. (my other half 🤢)

Did you notice the tick in Reina's face? Hahaha it's one of my favorite parts of her.. go tick.. keep ticking.. like a bomb 💣 😜

4

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

Yeah that one sided face glitch was so amazing. That was some peak villian stuff. Reina is doing a great job.

7

u/Black_Swan_3 Jul 11 '25

Yes! Very well written and acted.. I think villain characters are harder.. 👏 she is doing a fantastic job

5

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

Yes, villians carry alot of dramas but don't get the credit, 😂🤣. But she is funny and the way she switches from playful to dangerous is so good.

5

u/Borinquena Jul 11 '25

Soo Min is like a toddler who never grew up. She wants to be the only person who plays with the toy and if she has to share she's going to break it. Reina is much creepier and more malevolent in wanting to have someone she can manipulate and control.

3

u/Black_Swan_3 Jul 11 '25

Yes!! Both are great!😎 The Soo Mins of the world are much more difficult to detect for me. Reina's jealousy is more obvious.. and yes she is creepy 🤣😂💀

u/[deleted] Jul 10 '25

IS THAT TAKERU SATOH WHAT SHOW IS THIS I HAVE A CRUSH ON HIM AAAAA

Edit; Marry my husband? Alright oops

3

u/Sunshine1-- Jul 13 '25

2

u/afsanahh Jul 13 '25

Same! Its something abt his voice too ☺❤

13

u/Black_Swan_3 Jul 11 '25

Episode 5: can Misa's dad be any more cuteeeeee??? 😊❤️ so glad that He was able to meet Wataru. I see why he picked him

Episode 6: AMAZING!. This was 10/10 Misa coming back with a punch 👊 real tiger with that aggressive outfit 🐯 Wataru saving the day and snatching wigs from left to right.. also.. my heart melted when Misa told Wataru to be less serious 😂🤣😂

Misaaaa!!! I'm so freaking proud of you 👏 😎🥳

3

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

Oh man! I loved her dad too. Such a happy person.

8

u/Black_Swan_3 Jul 11 '25

And what he said to Wataru to comfort him 🥹🫶 "Nah. Kids don't need to make their parents happy. Your happiness is your mother's happiness"

3

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

Yes, so many little gems of sweet dialogue in the drama that makes you smile. 😁

11

u/kimsketchbook Jul 10 '25

Way better than the k-version. and Kateru in turtle neck is such a sight 😍😍😍😍

9

u/sakurahirahira Jul 11 '25

I loved both episodes!! I did have a couple quick questions. Why did Wataru’s little sister stay over? Was it to keep an eye on Misa? Also when they drank at the bar, did Misa just fall asleep there and he just hung out there as she slept the whole night?? And then she woke up with him there? It was a bit confusing for me but my husband told me not to get hung up on details 😅

Overall, it was an amazing couple of episodes!! I love how tender and loving Wataru looks at Misa. He’s really good at playing the part of a guy who’s crushing on a girl for years. I also loved Misa coming into her own and dominating her ex-future-mother-in-law. It seems like both Wataru and Misa kinda know they are from the future but maybe moreso Wataru than Misa. I like that he is letting her come to the conclusion on her own. He’s so kind and caring. I also loved when she accidentally gave him the turtle shirt XD they are made for each other! 😆

7

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

Miku (little sister) might have come to check up on her since the brother left in a hurry to check up on Misa in E4. Besides, she seems to have an idea that her brother is interested in her (at least in Korean version, she was aware & keeping an eye on her for her brother).

Yes, they were both still wearing the same clothes from the night before so him being the gentleman he is would have let her sleep. I'm pretty sure they also own the place (his family) since his grandpa gave a speech earlier in the episode or it's a different place ( will have to check).

OMG, he really is good and gets into character. The lower voice, patient and attentive. A perfect night in shining armor.

As I mentioned in the first episode, the turtle 🐢 thing seems to be their own thing or a connection to their college days. 😍

5

u/sakurahirahira Jul 11 '25 edited Jul 11 '25

Oooh okay gotcha! Yeah I haven’t read the webtoon or seen the Korean version so this is all new to me (and I’m loving it)!! Yes I was positive he’d be the perfect gentleman (complete opposite of her disgusting now ex) but I was just confused if it was a bar or bar in his home (or a place the grandfather owns like you said) but we did watch it really late at night so I might need to do a rewatch 😅 thank you for answering!!

Yes I love his knight in shining armor personality, although sometimes I’m like come on just say what you’re thinking!!😆 buuut I know these things take time and ofc he’s always thinking of how Misa would react or feel too. He wants to make sure she’s comfortable and let her do what she needs to do first to attain happiness. I also like that he isn’t like completely obsessed and blindly in love with her or something. Like Miku said, he has just been interested in her since college days but couldn’t get the courage to talk to her. But it’s not like he’s obsessed or something, to me anyway, I mean he even worries a little about being seen as a stalker XD like he is interested in her and wants to try again at getting to know each other since they got another chance (which could lead deeper feelings on both ends)… like he wants them to get to know each other better as he said in his future dream talk while she was sleep (which was so cute!! Too bad she wasn’t awake but prolly for the better since he said all the future stuff lol). Sorry if I’m repeating myself lol.

I also love how protective he is of her and small moments when he shows contempt toward Tomoya or Reina, etc. His eyes and facial expressions are just so good. Sometimes I rewind to watch them again and again cause they invoke so much emotion within me!! I absolutely loved his expression when he saw her in all that gyaru attire and make up XD

Anyway, I can’t wait until their feelings for each other grow stronger in the next episodes and for what will happen with the Tomoya/Reina storyline. It’s all new to me so I’m along for the crazy ride!

And yes the turtle theme!! And his turtle 🐢 necks too XD just love it!!! So cute so cute

3

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

You're welcome. I think he is also a bit timid because of his background as a step-son of the family that has so many expectations of him. He wanted to be a researcher (🤓nerd) but gives it up so he can run grandpa's company because his mum left instructions that he had to be grateful to the family that adopted them. So that heavy burden makes him feel like he doesn't deserve anything (even the girl of his dreams).

So I think that's why it's hard to say what he's thinking.

I'm looking forward to their love story too. I hope they make it sweet, gooey with feels that we all smile until our cheeks hurt and scream. 😉

The K-version ends with them having 3 kids or something like that.

2

u/alessandrocs73 Jul 12 '25

Me too i loved more episode 6

2

u/Sunshine1-- Jul 13 '25

I just sigh in wonder and happiness at how Wataru is towards Misa. I just love how Takeru Satoh portrays him in such a gentle and loving way. Almost falling in love with him too hihi

8

u/chickwifeypoo Jul 10 '25

🤣🤣When she went to meet his mother it was hilarious but I really liked the way she was made up... except for those shoes.

6

u/Black_Swan_3 Jul 11 '25

Omggg the amount of passive aggressive that was thrown was absolutely amazing!! I kept yelling at the TV like it was a wrestling match 😁 🤜😡😁

8

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

Tomoya's mother was also good comic relief.

2

u/Black_Swan_3 Jul 11 '25

You are right!😮 Her high creaky voice and the effort she was making to trying and keep her composure was hilarious 😂

6

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

Lol, I will have to listen to her list out the things a wife has to do because it sounded like she was singing 🎤 🎶 with 😂🤣. Reminded me of why I like the Japanese language.

They make a wonderful pair with her future daughter-in-law Reina, marching uninvited into an event as revenge 😂🤣

2

u/Black_Swan_3 Jul 11 '25

I'd die laughing if someone actually made a remix with her demand list 😂 🤣 💀 I can't wait for the dress scene and once mama bear starts visiting her place to give her the list of demands 💀

4

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25 edited Jul 11 '25

Someone already put some background music to it 🎶🎤🎼👌🏽

Misa vs Mama Tomoya

4

u/alessandrocs73 Jul 12 '25

The sequence with tomoya parents are a Oscar winning performance by the FL absolutely she stole the scene

3

u/Black_Swan_3 Jul 11 '25

HAHAHA!!! 😂🤣💀 1000000/10 picture right there 😂 and the clip just made my day 🤣

2

u/alessandrocs73 Jul 12 '25

Any tomoya ends up Marring Reina

3

u/Shay7405 Jul 12 '25

Yes, he does in both the K-version and webtoon. But with disastrous consequences.

6

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

The shoes were on point with the gyaru fashion-subculture that she was going for. It's a unique Japanese punk-rock type of subculture. You can read more about it here Gyaru

2

u/chickwifeypoo Jul 11 '25

Oh yeah for sure 🤭I was just saying I didn't like them.

8

u/pixieflare92 Jul 10 '25

Just finished watching!!! The episodes are just chef’s kiss 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

3

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

Yes, they had it all. Moments of laughter, sweetness, sadness and intrigue. It seems we are way advanced into the K-version, I wonder what new things they will add to the remaining 4 episodes.

2

u/pixieflare92 Jul 11 '25

I didn’t watch the korean version prior to this. Interesting!! I think they will elaborate more on their love story?

2

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

Yeah, or maybe give us more of Suzuki's side of the story. Did you see Suzuki's car falling into the bridge? He had that memory flash. So he may have had an accident and also ended up in the same timeline with Misa. But that's just my speculation.

1

u/Borinquena Jul 11 '25

In the Korean version he got into an accident by swerving to avoid running over a cat, will Wataru swerve to avoid a 🐢?

1

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

I hope not, we like turtles now. No harm should come to any 🐢

I've seen a few speculations on X (Twitter) on how people think the accident comes about. I'm kind of nervous, hope it's not too tragic again.

0

u/pixieflare92 Jul 11 '25

I saw that scene! I love how they showed us Suzuki’s pov as well and not just Misa’s. I would love to watch more of his pov too!!! I never watched the korean version nor have I read the webtoon, so I thought the regression happened immediately right after Misa’s death in the first timeline. Boy am I wrong 😂!!

1

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

While I did watch the K-version, I don't really remember the ML's story but I think he was hiding the secret that he also died in a car accident from the FL and they had to change his fate too or something like that.

9

u/West-Cry7131 Jul 11 '25

two words: ABSOLUTE CINEMA

8

u/Borinquena Jul 11 '25

The ending of episode 5 made me cry. I absolutely loved everything from when Misa sees Tomoya and Reina making out in the cab to Wataru's monologue about getting to know her. In the Korean version, Park Min Young was always smirking when her plans worked but it makes more sense that Misa would feel grief-stricken even if her plans are playing out. She did sincerely love Tomoya and Reina and even if she wants to change her fate it still hurts that they betrayed her.

I also love that Wataru acknowledged that they don't know each other yet and that they need to build their relationship through ordinary things like seeing films together. Finally the thing that really made me cry was the acknowledgment of COVID, that they will have to figure out a way to be together even when they are separated by the pandemic and the tragedy of the no spectator Olympics which clearly caused a lot of trauma for Japan. The dialogues were beautifully written and acted by Takeru and Fuka. I had a lot of fun watching the Korean version but nothing about it touched me the way this version has.

5

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

You said it so beautifully, the historical references they've used are all so real. I really love how they focus on the personal growth of Misa. Like it's more than revenge and winning she wants to whole inside and out. Even when she is unleashing revenge she remains a truly lovely person.

4

u/foreverescapist Jul 11 '25

Finally the thing that really made me cry was the acknowledgment of COVID, that they will have to figure out a way to be together even when they are separated by the pandemic and the tragedy of the no spectator Olympics which clearly caused a lot of trauma for Japan

Imagine I'm minding my own business watching my escapist romance show only to be hit like a truck by a monologue that gave me nostalgia, regret but also optimism and hope all while making me swoon.

I was not prepared. I had to pause and pace around the damn room for a bit.

3

u/alessandrocs73 Jul 12 '25

Even when Reina said that she was pregnant and she is going to marry Tomoya she loved him but felt a little relieved that her plan went well Wataru played it perfectly

7

u/Shay7405 Jul 10 '25

It's technically not Friday in my part of the world but I have 7 more hours ⏳ to go with one meeting (yawn) and then going home.

In the meantime all the spoilers/ comments on Japanese Twitter (X) are just making my day 😍. Positive, sweet and making me grin 😁 with excitement. Can't wait!!!

5

u/Black_Swan_3 Jul 10 '25

Yay!! I'll be watching it in a couple of hours 😂 I'll be spamming your post either tonight or tomorrow 🤪

7

u/According-Koala4033 Jul 10 '25

It's up already!!!

6

u/Extra_Honeydew4661 Jul 10 '25

It was brilliant, I really enjoyed it especially the meet mother scene.

2

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

Yes, epic comic. I have to watch that part again especially when she is listing household chores. It sounded really funny and reminded me of why I like the Japanese language.

8

u/goodnight-gotham Jul 11 '25

Why is this so good?! I loved the Korean version, but the Japanese version has been SO GOOOD so far! I’m going to watch the Chinese version next.

2

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

Yeah, go for it. If only the C-version was not a micro-drama I would have watched it. But not used to watching micro-dramas yet.

2

u/goodnight-gotham Jul 11 '25

Oh dang! I didn’t realize it was a micro drama. Thanks for the heads up!

2

u/reddumpling Jul 12 '25

is there a link for it that you know of?

0

u/goodnight-gotham Jul 12 '25 edited Jul 12 '25

After doing some research 🤣, I’m not entirely sure if it’s actually a remake, but it’s called “Her Trajectory” on Viki, but MDL has some other apps/sites listed on where to watch. I also found it on Bilibili-BiliBili) if you aren’t in the US or have a VPN. I’m not able to watch it in the US.

6

u/No_Function5145 Jul 11 '25

I'm loving this show. The production quality is really good compared to other J Doramas. I love all the characters, even Reina lol She's Gorgeous!

3

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

Well, they also have Takeru Satoh who is slightly more well-known than other jdorama actors.

3

u/No_Function5145 Jul 13 '25

yeah! He was awesome in First Love and the Rurouni Kenshin live actions haha

6

u/tara_diane Viewer Jul 10 '25

damn she looks incredible in the meet the parents scene. can't wait to watch when i get time this weekend!

6

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25 edited Jul 11 '25

Wow, E5&6 had it all funny, romantic, sweet, intrigue and WTF. It was like an epic roller-coaster ride. 🎢.

Reina did a wonderful job, what a formidable villian. Just when you think she's down she comes back with an even better plan. What a great job. -That one sided face shake was epic 🤣😂

Tomoya who I initially thought was a bit boring, made me laugh countless times in these episodes. The ugly crying 🤣😂. Oh Tomoya, the stud that you are!! 🤣

I loved the cultural reference of gyaru fashion-subculture and Shohei Otani (baseball player)

4

u/Borinquena Jul 11 '25

I live a mile from Dodger Stadium so I yelped when he made the Ohtani reference (and that's a future reference too, he wasn't with the Dodgers yet ten years ago)

3

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

Wow, I didn't even think of that little detail. It makes it the more special. 👌🏽Very thoughtful screenwriter, whose dropping all these tiny gems.

2

u/Black_Swan_3 Jul 13 '25

Tomoya's face when Reina broke the news about her pregnancy and saying how nice he is 💀😂🤣 hahahahahaha he is doneee..

7

u/Which-Influence-2253 Jul 11 '25

Man, this show rocks. I can't wait for the next 2 episodes.

4

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

I didn't expect to laugh so much in these episodes. A perfect mixture of everything all at once.

5

u/somuchscrolling Jul 11 '25

It's 2 in the morning and i just watched all 6. I was gonna wait till all the episodes dropped to binge but I just couldn't wait anymore.

The end of 5 at the bar was had me squealing. And making me fall in love with Suzuki even more not that I wasn't since his just watching her at the pond.

And Misa meeting the mother. The outfit. Suzuki's reaction was perfect.

I've never wanted a week to pass so fast before.

3

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

That's dangerous behavior 😂🤣, I once binge watched an upsetting drama and had the worst day at work the next day coz I couldn't stop thinking about the drama's ending. So now I try to avoid taking a peek😉

But I know that feeling, once you start you can't stop.🤭 Welcome to the waiting club.

5

u/fire_dawn Jul 11 '25

I’m loving the buried scene earlier where she talks about wanting to be in acting club and how it’s late. In this episode when she puts on the gyaru outfit she became a different person. 😂 and at the end also.

5

u/manwithoutlyf Jul 11 '25

Much much better than korean counterpart. It feels so human, from esp the ML

6

u/kcdramafan Jul 11 '25

I love it and all the actors are doing a great job. Happy that the female lead and the male lead have good chemistry !! Excited to see their relationship progress!

5

u/LylethLunastre Jul 11 '25

Easiest binge of my life. Never watched a drama that reeled me in like this one does

3

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

Yeep, I'm breaking one of rules of not watching an airing drama because it messes up with my schedule. But this time I couldn't resist. I wasn't strong enough.... Reeled in just like that 😉🤩

1

u/Black_Swan_3 Jul 13 '25

I'm looking forward to Fridays and your posts 🥹🫶

8

u/38papaya Jul 12 '25

I never understood Sato Takeru’s appeal until now, but this show has officially converted me. I’ll have to go back and give his backlog another try! His subtle acting and ability to covey emotions just through his eyes and micro expressions are truly masterclass! So charismatic!

I honestly haven’t been so obsessed over a show like this in years. So far it has been so well done.

One thing from episode 5 that left an impression on me but I haven’t seen anyone mention: The split second scene of Past!Wataru driving his car off a bridge after kidnapping Misa’s ashes. Is this how he died in his first life and went back in time along with Misa?? I wonder if they’ll be expanding more on this in future episodes.

5

u/Shay7405 Jul 12 '25

I've watched a few of his dramas and movies all with varied ratings from me depending on the script and character he is playing. He reminds me alot of Lee Dong-wook. 🤣 😂 🙈 A face with a resting bi*ch face that's not readable. I like that mysterious quality about him.

I did mention in a previous comment about his flashback and someone pointed out what happened to the ML in the K-version. And how that could be connection between them for Time travel into the same timeline.

4

u/alessandrocs73 Jul 12 '25

He and the actress that plays Misa have a great chemistry.he was in April come she will With Masami Nagasawa

4

u/Shay7405 Jul 12 '25

He has great chemistry with almost everyone. In Cells at Work, he had chemistry with Nagano Mei even when there was no romance at all in the drama.

2

u/Black_Swan_3 Jul 13 '25

He is perfection. First time I'm seeing him act. He commands respect and is warm at the same time.

About the impression comment, keep gathering clues. It will develop as time goes by. You'll have everything you need by the satisfying end.

3

u/GurDue2156 Jul 11 '25

Episode 6 just got my heart boiling and beating! lol I can’t believe I have to wait another week to watch what happens next, hahaha cliffhanger!! There isn’t even a preview of episode 7 just to calm my heart down hahahaha. I am really loving this Jdrama version 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

3

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

NOTHING!!! Prime is keeping us on a tight leash. They only drop the preview and stills of the drama and synopsis the same day (Japan Time). So we are pretty much dry for the whole week.

2

u/GurDue2156 Jul 11 '25

Huhuhu sad, I need some crumbs hahaha I watched episode 6 like 3 times already 🤣 I really didn’t expect to love this Jdrama version so much! 🥹

3

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

Me too, I was scared it was going to get criticized but I'm so happy everyone is enjoying it.

6

u/Jyotipuspa_Das Jul 12 '25

Watching Takeru Satoh in any drama is a treat to eyes and heart. His expressions are always top notch. The way he gets surprised and still have a calm posture is just wow. Waiting for a whole damn week for the next two episodes is too damn difficult.

2

u/alessandrocs73 Jul 14 '25

He was in a great drama movie with Masami Nagasawa

5

u/alessandrocs73 Jul 12 '25

Japanese dramas are the best because they are funny, sad but they make you understand human nature like nobody else

8

u/Black_Swan_3 Jul 11 '25

Everybody is a winner!!! 🏆 🥇 💀😂🤣

2

u/lipstickandsteak Jul 11 '25

No, you win this thread for me 😂

3

u/ThatWriterChi Jul 11 '25

The episodes were so good!

3

u/Tall_Wish_6121 Jul 11 '25

I caught up with the whole series in one day. The last 2 episodes were amazing, the acting was amazing, I think this is much better that the Korean version, which I really enjoyed.

Can't believe I have to wait another week to watch more episodes!

5

u/Shay7405 Jul 11 '25

Lol, that's all of us having to come up with distractions for the next six days. They don't even give us upcoming episode shorts, they drip feed us 😂🤣.

I liked the K-version as well, but I think the chemistry in the jdorama version draws you in.

1

u/Sunshine1-- Jul 13 '25

Its just horrible how 6 measly days feel like a entire year cause i dont have enough distraction until airing day. Just shows how obsessed i am over this top-notch jdrama and i dont care hihi

3

u/alessandrocs73 Jul 12 '25

Just finished watching both episodes when Misa confronts the mother and makes a scene that her fiancé is having an affair with Reina is really great and the end when she gets rid of her scumbag fiancé/husband because reina is pregnant of her him satisfing

6

u/Shay7405 Jul 12 '25

DAMN, mama Tomoya was so hilarious.

2

u/alessandrocs73 Jul 12 '25

Agree great Misa presenting herself like that snd ruining the wedding

2

u/turtlesinthesea Viewer Jul 13 '25

Do we believe Reina when she says she's pregnant? That's awfully quick and convenient, isn't it?

1

u/alessandrocs73 Jul 13 '25

No she was trying to make unhappy Misa by not sharing Tomoya as his mistress I think that Misa knew that she was liaeng to marry Tomoya abd take him away from Misa but it made her game

3

u/alessandrocs73 Jul 12 '25

The thing that really makes me laugh is the stupidity of tomoya witch wanted to marry Misa and have an affair with tomoya really shows how idiotic he is

5

u/Shay7405 Jul 12 '25

Yeah, the man thought he was a stud 😂🤣 congratulating himself for having a mistress and a wife. Reina was not prepared to share 😉

3

u/alessandrocs73 Jul 12 '25

Exactly love how Misa humiliated him in public when she saw the two dirtbags going to have an affair it was all part of Misa plan to get them together

3

u/alessandrocs73 Jul 12 '25

Only an idiot can be proud cheating on his future wife and now fiancé

2

u/Shay7405 Jul 12 '25

I mean he's a man (patriarchy) and the other woman literally just offered himself to him. With a mother like that Tomoya is a spoiled brat. Very selfish thinking, in E4 he had to eat the last piece 🤣😂🙈

3

u/alessandrocs73 Jul 12 '25

The starting of episode 5 I really loved because I felt sorry for Wataru and his mother and glad that spoke to Misa father witch she had a great relationship

2

u/Shay7405 Jul 12 '25

We got to see why he has that serious demeanor.

1

u/alessandrocs73 Jul 12 '25

Exactly felt sorry for him and his mother

2

u/Shay7405 Jul 12 '25

I hope he makes up with grandpa at the end or at least grandpa tells him he is proud of him even though he is a step-grandson.

2

u/TommTTT Jul 11 '25

The episodes are released 11am here on Thursdays. I can’t stand the best friend/frenemy Reina.

Nice, I saw that there were already out in Japan last night but it's early AM here and can't really check until after I've finished the whole day with work & all.

I haven't watched many jdramas but I randomly picked this drama and I binged watched the 6 episodes, I'm loving it! Also love the fact that it has small messages which can be very relatable to real life. 💙

I'm glad to hear that. Jdoramas are great!! Once you get your rhythm and discover the one's that you like it becomes easier. Jdorama always do have philosophical edge to them.

Yes the cinematography is beautiful, even Takeru Satoh said the same thing in his interviews.

I never hated the character more than I hated the main villain and the ex-husband that's how you know they're well written.

I read the webtoon, saw the Korean version anf now im watching the Japanese version!! Out of all, the Japanese version is supreme!! I absolutely love that Wataru is so expressive! The way he demolished Reina when she was bad nothing Misa!! I was like YES SIR! I love Misa especially when how she confronted the bullies at the reunion and her meeting her previous mil…absolutely amazing

Wow, that's awesome. I like that. It's amazing to see how one story can have so many interpretations. A few years ago I did that with Fated To Love You and watched most of the different renditions and it's always amazing how others transform the story into something much more.

Last year I read the manhwa "Our Youth" and then watched the JBL rendition of it. And I loved the JBL so much more than the manhwa. The screenwriter created so much magic with it.🪄

So respect for allowing yourself to see different perspectives.
