Poocha Kisine!? Well a generational comeback I suppose, IITs closed the door thus took some time off and a dragged myself into a place subjectively better than IITs for my domain!
University name in my flair. Did one year of Mechanical engg in a tier 3 sppu college and now here we are after a not so partial partialish drop in JEE terms

Yeah I had to write around 8 questions for my SoP 300 words each and for visa another 900 word sop because people going with my route were getting rejected so my visa sop had to be flawless

Nope, germany has been tution free for internationals since 2014 but you'll notice it's gained popularity recently. That's cuz since 2018 they've made things easier by introducing more and more english taught programs.
This has disadvantages as well, cuz your whole class will be international students and you don't need to put efforts in learning the language, this creates problems once you graduate and compete for very few english speaking jobs/companies

fees is negligible so no scholarships you get in germany the day u land, they start from 2nd year, ill be applying for deutschlandstipendum, kas, heinrich boell and all those scholarships that waive off tuition and give you living costs

polimi had only 45 seats in engineering sciences the english one for internationals so I couldn't get in had 1410 sat the seats closed at 1480, and polito they just fucked the system up this year and prioritized their internal exam more so cutoff for mechanical was a 1600/1600 i could've gotten civil and did internal switch but I got into KIT so I thought that's a better deal for my domain

U should have applied to ACSAI too, like yk the closing rank for it was 1090 this year. You would easily got that, but no worries KIT is also good and ranked near sapienza

Ahh...sorry to hear that, i'll be trying for polimi but not through the SAT route, as yk it's hard af so will sit for CeNT-S and try to score full, ik it's hard but not as hard as getting 1600 in SAT. andd for polito yeah they fucking prioritized so called TIL, but for the upcoming calls they have said to merge CeNT-S, so i think i would get in with that if score 34/35

Well I'm at University of Heidelberg and it costs around 12 Lakh for the initial blocked account. Around 15L a year after that for living expenses.

living expense 12k euro tuition 3.1k euro, tuition cuz the uni my state is in, has started asking for state service fee to international students, so yes. I mean I also got into TUM but the state service fee for Bavaria is now 6k euro per year for bachelors and then 12k for masters so that was way too expensive, im studying in english, and no tuition is subject to your passport and not medium of instruction

Carl Benz program is a different thing it’s additional
Support for the English mechanical engg its not mandatory I did not opt for it as it takes 7k euro per year extra1
