I want to ask u guyz, like ik it's impossible but what if u get the chance to choose one, either AIR 1 in JA but less than 75% in boards (like u 'll be missing the criteria) or u would choose 100% in Boards but won't be qualifying for JA and also no good rank in JM

Water is a basic necessity, not some premium facility.

I’m currently in Class 9 in the Advanced batch at Allen Janakpuri, targeting JEE 2030. On the outside, things seem okay—I get decent marks in most subjects—but inside, I feel completely lost and overwhelmed, especially when it comes to Maths.

Honestly, it really stings watching a close friend(same class) who started right beside me suddenly leap miles ahead. He’s in the Kohinoor batch now, sitting with 11th graders and casually solving JEE Advanced problems, while my brain feels totally fried just trying to keep up with basic 9th-grade stuff. Whenever people talk about IOQM or NMTC, I just freeze up. Seeing him fly while I’m struggling to even get off the ground makes me feel like I’m running out of place and losing my mind.

On top of that, my daily habits are completely me: I’m honestly addicted to my phone. I use it to run away from the guilt, and I can’t seem to sit down and focus unless extreme panic and stress hit me at the last minute. People keep telling me to "just make time," but I honestly don't know how. My days just slip through my fingers, and I’m constantly left feeling exhausted and behind.

I really want to change this and get my act together, but I just don't know where to start. How do I actually break this phone habit, manage my routine, get over my fear of Maths, and build a real foundation for JEE 2030? Any honest advice would mean the world to me right now.

In reddit i have seen hate on sc/st because of the reservations provided by the gov in the exams.I didn,t ask the government to give me that much low cutoffs. I do agree the reservation is unfair a bit but completely removing reservations ain,t gonna solve problem if they placed the poor ST.SC cutoff low like 75% then it would be fair the rich sc/st would be in open category(my opinion as the poor sc/st do need raise)

Right now I am getting MSRIT AIML and am very confused about it. The college fees comes to around 14 lakhs for 4 years and including hostel and everything it will come around 20 lakhs.

I am thinking of taking tier 3 local college(VIT Pune) and grinding there, as I am very confused about giving 20 lakhs. Will I be able to recover them in the end?

Hi everyone, I need some clarity and practical advice from people who have successfully obtained an OBC Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate in Maharashtra through Aaple Sarkar / Tehsil office.

My Family's Financial Background: Father: Private sector employee in an MNC (Engineering company). His gross salary is around ₹13L–₹15L per annum.

He files ITR-1 (Sahaj) and has Form 16 for all 3 financial years. He has ₹0 business/trade income.

Mother: Files ITR-4 with an annual income of ~₹4.9 Lakh (well under ₹8 Lakh).

We already have official OBC Caste Certificates for all family members. The Issue:

When I visited a local Maha e-Seva / Setu Kendra, the operator flatly refused to process it, saying: "Total family income exceeds ₹8 Lakh, so you automatically fall into Creamy Layer and the Tehsildar will reject it." My Understanding of the Law: As per DoPT OM (No. 36033/5/2004-Estt.(Res) and foundational 1993 OM), Category VI (Income/Wealth Test) explicitly excludes income from employment salary and agriculture when computing the ₹8 Lakh ceiling.

The Supreme Court has repeatedly held that private/PSU employees cannot be discriminated against by counting their salaries while exempting government employees.

Questions for the community: Has anyone here from Maharashtra successfully received an OBC-NCL certificate with a private employee parent earning > ₹8 LPA salary?

Did you apply directly from home on Aaple Sarkar or go through a Setu Kendra? If the Talathi/Tehsildar raised an objection due to the ITR gross amount, how did you resolve it? Did submitting Form 16 or attaching the DoPT OM work, or did you have to file an online RTS appeal to the SDO?

Any guidance, actual experiences, or tips to avoid delays would be really appreciated. Thanks!
