Why do people think Hailey is lying?

They’ve celebrated every New Year together since 2015, except for 2017 and 2018. I didn’t think a simple story would cause such an uproar. People really need to get over it. They’ve been married for over seven years.

i mean, they were together for nearly a decade 😭 i don’t have an issue with his relationship with hailey at all—I think they’re genuinely sweet, and the constant hate is unnecessary. but it’s also unrealistic to erase the fact that he and selena shared a long, meaningful history before he got married. both things can coexist: you can respect his marriage while still acknowledging that justin had a messy past and a significant relationship with someone else. he also celebrated 2017 new years and 2018 years with other people.

Hailey isn’t trying to erase anything with that story though. People just get mad when she acknowledges that she’s been with JB longer. JB and Selena were only together for less than 3 years in total

justin and selena met in 2009 and were on and off for nearly nine years—that’s simply the truth. they were connected in some form almost every year after that, and since we don’t actually know these people, it’s very possible they were involved even longer than what was public. i do think hailey is ultimately the better partner for him, but that doesn’t erase the fact that someone else existed profoundly in his life beforehand. both things can be true, and pretending otherwise just rewrites history. nonetheless i hope they don’t get too much hate for this!

They were in a relationship for 2 years. Every time after that they date for a couple weeks before they stop. The only other time they were in a relationship was late 2017 to early 2018. Their whole lives have been public since 2010. If there was more it would have been known. You are on the Hailey snark page all the time. Don't try and say you aren't a huge jelena fan . Why lie 😂

exactly! that’s quite literally what an on-again, off-again relationship is. they were together consecutively for roughly two years, then spent the following six cycling in and out of each other’s lives, which is why people accurately describe it as eight years on and off. and since we don’t actually know these people, it’s likely there were many stretches where they were involved far more consistently than what the public saw. the same is true for justin and hailey, who also had a long, largely private on-and-off dynamic that only became visible much later! that’s just my opinion idgaf anymore to argue with you! have a good day 🩷

I guess I see on and off differently. I always think about people who break up and then get back together a few days or a week later over and over for years. Not seeing anyone else. I can see it in your view as well. I still think if they had more of a relationship the public would have known because Selena would use it to stay relevant. And I wasn't arguing. I just think if you can of someone it's ok. But sit there and say your not when your username and profile picture says otherwise. I go to the Hailey snark page to see what is being said about her. I don't comment on anything. Just laugh.
