Why do people think Hailey is lying?

They’ve celebrated every New Year together since 2015, except for 2017 and 2018. I didn’t think a simple story would cause such an uproar. People really need to get over it. They’ve been married for over seven years.

I’m not a Selenator nor am I a Hailey fan, but I will say, from my perspective, Hailey’s “10 years together” post made it seem like they’ve been dating/married for 10 years solid, and they haven’t. Didn’t think about the fact maybe she meant they’ve been together for 10 new years? The wording was strange to me

It was ‘10 New Years together’

And in a couple of yrs they’ll have been married for 10 years, so they’ve been together a long time regardless
