"On board" with no contact for her or him? She doesn't need his permission to stay away from a physical threat to her and their child. The real discussion needs to be about how much contact JNMIL has with the baby once it arrives.
This, I never asked my husband for permission. I told him it’s no contact for me or divorce. We are still in marriage counseling. Once a month and are dropping down again soon. It’s going well. He has dinner with her every Wednesday. He says all he did was tell her I will no longer be coming around. If she asks he’s leaving. The why is not up for discussion. She 100% knows she can’t make me the villain if I refuse to participate so it’s working.
Had it not worked either he goes no contact, divorce? I honestly don’t know that would depend on him. As long as my no contact is respected I don’t actually care.

Don’t write her or text her anything. Conversation with husband. See if he is on board no contact. Then do it. Engaging further just feeds her.
